Went to this Irish pub with a couple of friends and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was cozy and lively, the drinks were poured perfectly, and the staff made us feel welcome. A great spot to relax and catch up

If you want a real dive bar experience in Wheaton, Rosie O’Reilly’s is the place to be. It’s cozy and unpretentious, with cold beers, a classic jukebox, and bartenders who actually remember your name. The crowd’s mostly locals, and the vibe is always buzzing without trying too hard. Their frozen pizzas are surprisingly good, and there’s a chill back patio to hang out on. It’s the kind of spot where you can just relax, swap stories, and have a great time — exactly what you want from a dive bar. Definitely worth checking out.

February 17th 2020 they didn’t bother to salt a giant ice patch when me and my friend were leaving… I slipped and fractured my ankle. $1,500 ER visit that night. To this day I am still paying for it…
I’ve been though 4 rounds of PT, electro shock wave therapy, had special insoles made for me, purchased expensive shoes and even ups, and paid numerous copay’s to see several podiatrists and specialists….

It’s now June of 2025 and Last week I finally broke down and had to pay for an extremely painful and expensive ankle ligament repair surgery. $6,000 was due at the time of surgery. I was told I will also receive an anesthesiologist and surgeon bill in the mail on top of this price.

There is no reason to have a giant 4 foot by 4 foot ice patch when guests are trying to leave to get home! Salt in the winter! I haven’t been able to walk more than half a mile for the past 5 years of my life. Thanks…

Pretty good breakfast for a dive bar.

Vegetarian options: I had the french toast which was great, but other than eggs there are not many options.

Parking: Get there early if there is a football game on!

I normally frequent sullys instead. Much more my vibe. But in all my times I have been here I have had consistency and very good experiences.

Great small homey atmosphere. Haven't tried the food but assume it's typical small bar type faire
