A nice simple place with a short menu. Located near n the heart of Wheaton. I had biscuits and gravy which was heavy on the pepper. Crunch exterior with a fluffy center. Next I tried the Biscuit, bacon, egg and white cheddar cheese sandwich. It was very good with crunchy bacon. Not a lot of choices but that is okay because it is a biscuit place. They share discerning with a coffee shop so you can get a good selection of brews and enjoy a biscuit sandwich at the same location.
Only down side is they close early and are open 5 days a week so plan accordingly.

I was very excited to check Sassy Biscuit out. I’ve seen it a lot on social media recently and I’m a sucker for a good breakfast sandwich. The place itself is quaint, settled in a busy downtown area, but the inside is quiet with a calming atmosphere. That said the cashier appeared asleep when I walked in, with his head down on his arms on the counter and startled that I was even there. He was overly brief, with no greeting or pleasantries. Just told me how much I owed. The food itself wasn’t bad by any means, just a middle of the road biscuit sandwich. Nothing special to it. My particular biscuit was over baked and a little crumbly but it had good flavor. The garlic aioli is basically mayo with a little garlic while the roasted peppers was just one long pepper. Overall it was a rather disappointing experience. I can see how the place would be good, as I think my order might be an outlier (though they were NOT busy so why I got such mediocre and lukewarm food, I don’t know) but definitely nothing to go out of your way for.

Feels like I’m stepping into the south for a few minutes when I ate here! Biscuits are fresh and buttery and the jams and honey butter taste amazing. Very reasonable pricing and very filling! Love that it’s attached to Five and Hoek coffee so you can sip coffee and eat biscuits all at once.

1st time we came here everything was great accept for the ridiculous price. Biscuits were hot, soft, and delicious. Visited yesterday and my breakfast sandwich was pretty much inedible. Biscuit was had as a rock and crumbled into 3 pieces after 1 bite. The cheese was rubbery and greasy. Need to take some notes from CFB 2 doors down. Always consistent, hot and fresh. Their sandwiches are reasonably priced, more cheese options, always hot and delicious!

My go-to is sausage, white cheddar, and garlic aoli. Stop in to Five & Hoek for coffee too.

We are so glad that we are within walking distance of sassy biscuits! This has become our weekend go-to for breakfast… better than homemade!

Deliscious and cheap! Not often do I spend less then 10 bucks on a great breakfast but its easy to do here, and a rarely good biscuit that doesnt leave you desperate for a drink. Cant wait to come again!

Came by for the first time this morning. Wasn't impressed, definitely won't be back.

The bacon tasted like old grease.
The cheese was unacceptably oily.
The egg was overly oily.
The biscuits themselves tasted like nothing but shortening.

Props for trying something new but this one definitely wasn't for us.

It's always a good time grabbing a biscuit here, tasty stuff. Good variety on the menu, sweet or savory. Very friendly service.

Good, but forgettable. Took a long time to get the food out, so much so that they brought a coupon to us when delivering the food.

Delicious and filling! Just wish the Five & Hoek connection was smoother or there was a beverage fridge. The biscuit sandwiches are salty (in a great way) and I would have loved to have something to drink other than room temperature tap water, but I had my baby in a stroller, so I couldn’t use the connecting stairs, and I didn’t want to haul him out and around and come back to eat. If you have a stroller or can’t use stairs for any reason, secure your drink first!

We got the bacon sandwich. The biscuit was very buttery but it almost overpowered everything else so you really couldn’t taste the bacon. The egg on the sandwich was a thin, soggy, spongey, scrambled egg - not the way I like my breakfast sandwiches! The layout of the restaurant is also a bit cramped, it needs better flow to the counter and waiting area for food pickup.

We enjoyed our first, not last ?biscuit sandwich Saturday am. Very good and nice price. We decided it would enjoyed even more being wrapped in a foil wrap. The grease that showed on the wrapper wasn’t very appetizing. Maybe you can have a combo foil/paper wrapper, because your blue and white one was cute! Anxious to try a new option next time. Best of luck!
