Aw man, I've been coming to Shane's deli since they opened, but have definitely noticed that once Shane sold, prices have gone up and quality has gone down. Cookies are smaller. Meat portions smaller. But price somehow has gone up? I want to always give Shane's a full five stars based on the nostalgia I have attached to it and the fact the guys who work the line are amazing and the same ones who've been there forever (shout out to them for real). I hope ownership can find a happy medium on prices and back to old portion sizes so it really feels like you are getting what you paid for.

Twelfth Street Reuben, tasted good, but was very light on the meat and had expected amount of sauerkraut. I definitely do not recommend unless they can provide a more substantial serving of meats. I can only wish that the sandwich I purchased was similar to the photo shown in a different review. A group of us ordered four different sandwiches and impression was same for each. Can’t speak to service or atmosphere as sandwich was take out.

Great lunch spot in downtown Wheaton for a quick bite. The sandwiches are a very good and generous sized. I really like the grinders and panini when I want a hot sandwich. Great service & staff! There is outdoor seating so we can bring our dog when the weather is nice. It can get crowded on weekends around lunchtime, especially in the warmer months.
Parking: Plenty of street parking is available if you can find a spot. During busy times in Wheaton, I recommend the free parking garage, it is centrally located and only minutes walk to any of the attractions. It is maybe a 2 minute walk to the deli.
Kid-friendliness: Kids love eating here! Lots of families visit Shane's because of the very kid friendly menu.
