Great lunch spot in downtown Wheaton for a quick bite. The sandwiches are a very good and generous sized. I really like the grinders and panini when I want a hot sandwich. Great service & staff! There is outdoor seating so we can bring our dog when the weather is nice. It can get crowded on weekends around lunchtime, especially in the warmer months.Parking: Plenty of street parking is available if you can find a spot. During busy times in Wheaton, I recommend the free parking garage, it is centrally located and only minutes walk to any of the attractions. It is maybe a 2 minute walk to the deli.Kid-friendliness: Kids love eating here! Lots of families visit Shane's because of the very kid friendly menu.

Shane's Deli did a beautiful job with our box lunches on the day of my daughter's wedding. We so appreciated the delivery option and everyone enjoyed their sandwich choices. I went to Wheaton for undergrad and Shane’s has tasty sandwiches. I just stopped through the area the other day and had a Cobb salad and my significant other ate the Cuban and got sick a few hours after we left. This is not the first instance I have heard of someone getting sick following a Shane’s sandwich.
