Tasty Thai restaurant in Wheaton, right next to the train tracks. Parking in front of the restaurant is limited, sonis the street parking, but there is a paid parking garage right next to it. Food was really good. Spice level 3 was good for me, can go upto 4, but try 5 only if you are used to it and are ready to sweat.

Very cozy atmosphere with good service and really good food. Tried the chicken padthai, beef and broccoli and a Thai iced tea. Beef was very tender. Can't wait to come back and try some of their other dishes and the mango sticky rice.

Delicious and fresh food, good portions, and they’re always accommodating with my gluten free preference. Their tofu is the BEST, too.

We were in the Wheaton area and had a taste for Thai food on a very cold Thursday night. There was no one in the restaurant when we arrived so service was very good.

The decor is very nice and they offer a wide selections of appetizers, soups, rice and noodle dishes. We did notice their prices are higher than other Thai restaurants we have eaten at

My wife had their Coconut Soup with chicken. It was very flavorful with a blend of coconut milk broth, lemongrass, lime, mushrooms and chicken. (17.95)

I always have Pad See Ewe but this time I went with shrimp instead of chicken. I should have stayed with chicken..the shrimp were small and basically frozen from a bag with very little flavor. (18.95)

Portions were small in my opinion for the price.

We did notice a constant flow of pickups for takeout but since Simply Thai is not close to where we live, not sure I would make the effort to go back again.

This review is only for the pad Thai with vegetables- 🚨 do not order. The “vegetables” are 3 pieces of broccoli, 87 carrots cut three different ways, and a bunch of small veggies out of a frozen bag from the grocery store. Corn, green beans, and peas have no business being in Pad Thai.

We came to Simply Thai Bistro, expecting a quick, no-cook family outing. Instead, it turned into an overly extended and frustrating experience, and we were only a party of three.

This place should honestly be called “Simply No.” If you’re not a regular, be prepared to wait well over an hour. While the appetizers were decent, the main dishes were a disappointment, unpleasantly salty, poorly balanced, and far from enjoyable. Nothing felt special, authentic, or thoughtfully prepared.

The service made matters worse. Not once did our server check in to ask how we were doing, whether the food was okay, or if we needed anything—especially unacceptable given the excessive wait.
Overall, the experience did not justify the time or cost.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. Disappointing experience...

We were there for 2 and a half hours, it took our server 30 min to ask what we wanted to eat and drink. It took 45 min for any appetizers to come out and another hour for our food and beers to come. The beers we ordered the same time as our appetizers mind you. And we needed to repeatedly ask for water which would also take 20 min to come out. The appetizers were ok, but the main course was not worth the wait, it left my bf, his mom and I feeling gross and heavy. We watched many other tables that hadn't been asked there order for 45 mins just walk out.

The food here was absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and well worth the visit. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. While the service was a bit on the slower side, the overall experience was still very enjoyable thanks to the quality of the food and the pleasant atmosphere. I’d definitely come back, just with a little extra time.

The food here is excellent. We love the Thai fried rice and the panang curry. This is my go-to Thai restaurant in the area!

Love this place. Authentic Thai food in Wheaton. Take out or dine in - bith are great. Plenty of good choices - the Tom Yum soup is legit as is their noodle dishes. I keep coming back. And if you like it spicy, they'll be happy to oblige. .

I ordered Chicken Satay and it was very dry. The peanut sauce was all ginger and I could not taste the peanut butter. The salad that came with it came in a 2 oz cup.

A gem of a Thai restaurant in Wheaton, conveniently located near downtown, train station and bike path. Well-furnished, white tablecloth, cloth napkins, indoor plants, and Asian- themed decorations. Not stuffy or unwelcoming. Bossa nova music and perfect customer service. Excellent, authentic soup, dumplings and curry. Fresh ingredients. VERY reasonable price. I wish we had come sooner. Highly recommend.

We started with the chicken satay, which was perfectly cooked and tender. The peanut sauce had just the right balance of sweetness and spice — absolutely delicious. For our main dishes, we both ordered pad Thai. I had mine with shrimp and a 1/5 spice level, and it was perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and spot on. My wife had hers with chicken and no spice, and she really enjoyed it as well. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. We would definitely go back and highly recommend this place!
