I moved to the area 6 months ago, my sister & I tried this place for the 1st time today. Even though it was a Saturday morning & very busy we were seated within a couple of minutes. Being it was our first time here we had to take time to look over the menu & the specials. We decided to share the West Coast crepes, & the Caprese Benedict, both were fresh, delicious, & plentiful, both of us even took a half of a crepe home, we also shared an order of bacon 🥓 which was thick cut, & not too salty. The menu has plenty of options to choose from, healthy options, vegetarian, meaty, fruity, etc. The one thing I would like is with their crepe menu, they have a few different options that are sweeter more like dessert crepes, & they have the West Coast crepe which is savory, my sister & I both agree that it would be nice to have other savory options for the crepes also. The service from the hostess to the waitress, and the other staff were friendly, & helpful, with the fact that this was our first time the waitress was kind enough to give us time to look over the menu & make a decision on what we wanted. P.S. I ate a flower for the 1st time! It was a garnish on our plates. The only thing I regret, is that I didn't take pictures of our food.
We LOVE Hen House! My husband and I try to go once a month. It’s a nice local place with incredible food & great hospitality!
Good food, good service. The only negatives are parking is terrible and the space between tables is super tight.

This used to be my all time favorite breakfast spot, however, after my experience today, I will be taking my business somewhere else. I have been ordering online and visiting Hen House for YEARS! I would constantly order from them during the pandemic to "support local", and I always meet my gf for breakfast here as it has become her favorite as well. Can you imagine how shocked I was today to be treated SO POORLY? We had a smaller order, as I had already eaten, and we were told to pay our bill because "they were getting busy" ...with no one in line. The waitress/owner TAPPED on our table to tell us to basically "finish up". There were many open tables and no one waiting at the door to be seated. Not only that, but I am a RESPECTFUL person, and had I seen that they were indeed getting busy, we would have left regardless of being asked. It saddens me that I will never enjoy their breakfast again, nor will I be visiting their sister restaurant, MOLOS. What a despicable way to treat people, you should be ashamed of yourself for treating people the way you did, and you deserve the zero tip you received for your treatment of people. If it happened to us, their horrible customer service can happen to anyone. What a fool I was to support you for SO LONG. AVOID!!!!!!!

Poor service, food was underwhelming. Rude older woman host who is probably the owner. Slow service and the food was nothing special. Pass on this place!

Great breakfast options! I love the omelets and you can't skip on the hen house potatoes! It's a family favorite spot with great coffee options and breakfast beverages like bloody marys! Definitely recommend a visit here!

I was really excited to try this new breakfast place with my girlfriend, but sadly had the worst dining experience ever. I do not typically leave reviews but I felt impelled to share my awful experience.
Upon entering the restaurant, no one greeted us or bothered to seat us until one of the servers himself had to do it. Mind you, the restaurant was not busy and there was plenty of seating. Once at the table, we sat waiting for over 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. However, when another couple came in they were immediately seated and had their drink orders taken.
Eventually, we became upset and decided to speak to the manager/owner. Yet, even when he came out to speak to us he was very rude and seemed bothered to even hear our concerns. Eventually he told us to leave the restaurant and so we went elsewhere.
We felt really unwelcome and will not be going to this establishment ever again. I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

I’ve been to the He House several time and today was disappointing. Met a friend I hadn’t seen for a very long time and the waitress felt the need to rush us to order (tables were open and we completely understood it was going to be a busy Sunday morning). She said “You are going to need to order..it’s busy here). So we ordered and our food was there in 5 minutes….we literally could have been one and done in 20 minutes. So disappointed and there were still open table when we left to finish our conversation in the car. It a cute restaurant and great food…service lacked today.

I am sure it is a lovely restaurant. I am sad I could not sit at a table to have just a coffee because it is a restaurant and they were not accommodating or very friendly about it.
Great food at a good price. Friendly wait staff. They have a nice outdoor eating area. Only bad thing is trying to find parking.

We were looking for a good spot for a hearty lunch to get us through our busy day. The Hen House did not disappoint. We all enjoyed our meals. We love that they have regular specials and seasonal menu items.
