With all of my wedding tasks, I hadn’t considered how far in advance I’d need to order a cake so I reached out to The Quintessential Cake quite last minute. They still happily agreed to create my dream wedding cake for me in shorter notice than usual and it came out exactly as I imagined! I found an image of a cake on instagram and was dead set on it the moment that I saw it and they made my vision come to life! I am so happy that I found this business and yes the cake was also very moist and delicious!

Can’t recommend avoiding this business more. Victoria was completely non-responsive to my fiancée except for charging us for the deposit for the appointment.When we had gone to another bakery and did a tasting that we liked, we decided that we would rather go with the company that was responsive. So we canceled our appointment on July 1st, and despite sending that 26 days before our appointment was scheduled for, we got no response. When my fiancée got no response she sent several follow ups attempting via email and her website, for any confirmation, or policy on refunds.When the date of our appointment came and went with zero contact, we filed a dispute with our credit card. She still never contacted us and disputed back.Had we known we wouldn’t get our money back, we would have just continued with the tasting, however Victoria completely ghosted us. And if that’s how tasting appointments are handled, I’m glad we didn’t pick her to do our wedding cake.

My husband and I first met with Victoria for a consultation and tasting to discuss our needs and our vision for the cake design, as well as sample her cake and filling options. Everything was so delicious, we had difficulty choosing our favorites! Once we had settled on the design and the cake/filling itself, the process was a breeze—Victoria is an excellent communicator and followed up with us for any necessary information as we got closer to the wedding day. On the day-of, Victoria arrived promptly with the cake and set it up beautifully with our topper. Everyone loved our cake and wished they could eat even more! Overall, I would highly recommend working with The Quintessential Cake for your wedding or special event.

I cannot recommend Victoria and The Quintessential Cake enough! Our wedding cake looked perfect, exactly what I envisioned, and tasted absolutely delicious. Our guests were equally impressed as we received so many complements about how perfect the cake looked and that it was "the most delicious cake I've ever had". Victoria was wonderful to work with, transparent with pricing, and had an online portal that made contracts, payment plans, and communication about delivery easy. While her cakes obviously are worth it all on their own, the behind the scenes are equally a sell for me. After planning my own wedding and following up with various vendors constantly, Victoria was easy to communicate with and had everything all in one place. Would highly recommend!

We met with Victoria early last year, and discussed our vision. She was able to draw up a sketch for how it would look like. The tasting was beyond what we expected. We were impressed with all our options, and how it was all put together for us to try in her lovely studio. I didn't have a worry on my wedding day, and saw our wedding cake for the first time.
