How does a breakfast restaurant over cook an omelet. Bacon tasted like it was cooked for hours and warmed up in my skillet. It was smokey in the restaurant and we smelled like burned food. My husband has had a stomach ache for over 24 hours now. We were hoping to enjoy it, as we live down the street. We will never go back!

First time going I had the breakfast food the English muffin was good but that with butter was the only thing I ate … the food to me wasn’t really home cooked feel but more fast food joint taste the everything looked good but the scrambled eggs were very oily -made my stomach hurt after the first bite and the turkey sausage were overly greasy and just a fatty like texture I couldn’t enjoy any of it pass one bite. I would give one star but the cashier seemed not be having such a good start to her day and I could tell was trying not to pass that energy on to me despite having a what seemed to be a stressful start so I do appreciate that and understand we all have bad days so mg rating is mainly based on the breakfast I ate .. they have other options lunch etc I haven’t tried but I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon based of the quality of my breakfast to be honest !

Amazing restaurant. The soups and bread are off the charts. Very friendly service. You'll find a picture of the Owner, Anna, in my photos. Anna loves to check in the customers and make sure everyone is happy. Highly recommended

This place has great food, great service with a gently used and dated atmosphere. That's part of the charm. Prices were very reasonable for the omelets that we purchased.

Consistently good service and delicious food paired with friendly and attentive staff make for a great breakfast, brunch, and lunch stop! I like to try something different each time I'm here, but the spinach pie is a favorite.

Probably one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a very long time. I had the Avacodo and Bacon Omellete with hashbrowns and an English muffin. Reasonably priced and a tasty and well-sized omelette! We will go back and I’ll take pictures next time.

Owned by incredibly rude people that have no compassion for others.

Exactly what you would expect from a good breakfast diner. Huge portions, tasty food, fast service and the staff remembers you when you come in, so that's nice. Good breakfast grub!

The Verdict is a great place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. With a family friendly atmosphere and a huge double sided menu, there is something for everyone. The owner and staff are lovely people and the food is delicious. They have omelettes, pancakes, toast, salads, sandwiches, and so much more. They were more than willing to accommodate allergies for my table. Try the Greek bread and the tuna salad!

The great lawyer hang out. Hadn't been there is years and it's gone down a bit. The potato pancakes are almost cake. And scrambled hard mean scrambled and soft and not browned. Still it is the icon of the dupage courthouse

Verdict is in- this place is disgusting. Bland food, lack of service, long wait times, and overall run down, dirty, grimy atmosphere.

Read the other negative reviews. They aren’t kidding. Not sure how a restaurant could make such a horrible tasting breakfast. Coffee was refilled once and had to wave down our waitress for that. Table full of adults received a free unrequested balloon w no string… ummm okay.

There is a level of grime that cannot be clean up easily w/o shutting down the restaurant for a couple of weeks. Don’t know where all the ppl that leave 5 star reviews are eating at… I won’t be returning. This place is NASTY NASTY NASTY 🤢
