We hope this place finds a spot close to the existing location. We enjoy this take on an ice-cream treat and the variety of flavors. Seeing the ice-cream being rolled is a kids favorite.
First time at the Arctic spoon. I did not understand the concept so when I questioned it, they just stared at me and pointed to the sign. OK really awkward. So I read the entire process still then get what regular size and kid sizes so I just told them I want a chocolate ice cream with mint Oreos And Hershey chocolate bars topped with banana and Nutella drizzle with some type of cookie that I asked for an explanation . I was told it was a rolled cookie stuffed with chocolate and I thought that sounds nice. You saw the end result in the photo I asked where are the mint Oreos? What’s this toothpick that’s dipped in chocolate? She said that’s what you paid for. She said it’s in the ice cream. I said it’s disintegrated. It’s like a milkshake in the cup. I said I wanted to have chunks of the Oreos in there. Can I have an Oreo for my ice cream? She said let me ask the manager. I said you have to ask the manager to give me one mint Oreo cookie after I’ve paid $9.98 for one cup of measured ice cream? She went over and asked the manager who completely took it to a level that should not have. The manager said because the $9.98 included one cookie of my choosing that’s all I get .I said ma’am, the one mint oreo cookie that’s in my ice cream is a milkshake. It’s like baby food. so I asked now a third time ,May I have a cookie and I’ll break it up myself and put it on top. I was told no that’s what you paid for. The ice cream was okay. It was only made with milk, not cream. With a heavy water content, it was melted before I even got to my car. however because I was treated the way that I was I will never go back. And for $9.98 it was not worth all that drama.
My kids went in at 7pm, on 6/18 & sign said closed at 9pm. She was rushing them through their ordering on Kiosk advising them “they had to take to go” & “hurry”. After they paid w/Apple Pay & signed the kiosk said error, owner stated it was declined. 34.13$ was never issued back to my kids & I'm currently working w/Apple support on the issue, they state the business is sitting on the payment not declining or accepting. So here we are a week later still not refunded. I have till 6/25/25 to make an official report against the business. How many times have they done this to others. * RESPONDING TO YOUR COMMENT, we tried to resolve the situation at the moment but the women was extremely rude & making everyone leave. I would love to resolve this & will be in shortly.
Not bad. 4.5/5 ( rounded to 4 ). Good for the price.
I requested for oreo mix in and it tasted great, however my whole ice cream only seemed to taste like full oreo - good but i wish i could taste the vanilla flavor more.
Service was decent. There was a similar review about how the manager was horrible to them, for me they were a bit aggressive but controlled and did their job so i dont really care.
I like the comfortableness of the outdoor area.
Great place but there are a few better restaurants.
I absolutely loved it! If you’re an Indian, you know Cream Stone. They make ice cream here just like they do in India. You absolutely must visit! 😍
If I could give 0 stars I would! My husband and I came in right now to Arctic Spoon and from the moment we walked into the doors until we left was a disorganized nightmare. They do not have a clue what they are doing in there. No welcome how can I help you, just stare at you and pretend they are helping. You have to order on a kiosk which no one’s knows how to do. Finally, we waited 1/2 hr only to get reprimanded that we should have said we were there. Ice cream is not even worth the calories. Horrible! I recommend you do not go or you will waste your time and money.
Great ice cream, great drinks. I was there today with my mom, and we didn't know they were closing soon, but they made the ice cream anyways. To the workers reading this, I'm so sorry we made you work past curfew.
Fun experience. I had the mango which was delish.
They use really fresh ingredients and the way they are skillfully creating this deliciousness is just fun to watch! I don't like sweets, but this satisfies my occasional craving for quality treats!
I love this style of ice cream. It’s a bit awkward because it feels like you’re entering from the back and it’s not the coziest hang out vibe. But the ice cream-yum.

Been going here every week for almost 3 years. Great staff, wonderful owner and it’s a lovely family owned business. Love their boba tea and their ice cream rocks
Plus since I’ve been a regular for so long it’s great having iced tea challenges with them and just debating over best ice cream toppings
Love this place totally recommend if you haven’t tried it to give this place a chance, you won’t regret it
Plus place is super cheap for good quality ice cream and drinks

Love their ice cream. Ice cream with lychee topping is a good combination. Wish it's open for more hours.

My daughters and I decided to visit the Arctic Spoon at Wheeling tonight for a quick dessert, but unfortunately we left very dissapointed.
The manager or owner (not sure) was extremely rude.
We entered the shop at 7:40 p.m., and while I was fully aware that closing time was 8:00 p.m., the manager made it clear almost immediately that we couldn’t sit inside, which I had no issue with. I understood they were closing soon and was prepared to take our order to go. However, as we started to make our selections at the kiosk, the manager gave us a disapproving look and asked us to hurry up with our order, despite the fact that we were almost done.
What was especially disheartening was when my 10 year old daughter said “thank you” after receiving her ice cream, and the manager didn’t acknowledge or respond at all. This woman lacked basic courtesy and has zero customer service. Her attitude, especially her dissatisfied looks, made the experience unpleasant, and we couldn’t help but feel unwelcome, even though we were respectful and mindful of their closing time.
It’s a shame because we love visiting the Wheeling town center but we will not be visiting the Arctic Spoon ever again. I hope management takes the time to address this issue so future customers have a better experience than what we experienced tonight.
