Chicago Ramen Wheeling

Ramen was good but service was horrible . First I had to ask to order , then the food came and not one time did the server ask me how the food was or did we need anything .
All the server did was watch TV on her phone
There was only two tables in the restaurant and she didn’t pay attention to us .
I even had to wave her over to pay .

I always go eat there in the evening to eat but today i decided to do ubereat. I ordered a rice and spicy miso with corns. Soup was so salty i couldnt eat and noodles were all stuck together and so hard, i wasnt sure if i was supposed to boil this or not. But again, if i did - it would the be even saltier. Rice was so dry and hard. $4.50 dollar rice :( very disappointed …

Way too pricey for ramen. My bill for a bowl of spicy miso ramen, some edamame, and a can of Diet Coke was $35 including tip. I felt the quality wasn’t anything special for how much I was charged.

Good ramen at a decent price and fast service. The spicy red miso was perfectly spicy without being overbearing.

We ordered the fried calamari and were disappointed. It was not served hot, which is very important for fried food. It seemed like the oil temperature was not right—the calamari was greasy and overly salty. After tasting a couple of pieces, we couldn’t continue eating it.

The ramen was just okay; I’ve had much better elsewhere.

We informed the waitress about the calamari, but we were still charged the full price, which was frustrating. Because of this experience, I will not be returning.

Worst services ever! Three workers don’t ever acknowledge customers waiting for food to be pick up. Just continue working. They are taking care of customers in the restaurant. No kind of organization . My friend who order called they didn’t even answer the phone ridiculous. Please don’t support this place very rude!

The chicken karage and the takoyaki were good but the rice i was given was old and I could not enjoy my food because of that.

Not good for takeout. Took forever for employee to put order in; my credit card was just sitting unattended on the table for a good 10 minutes. They helped other dine-in guests who arrived after first. Didn't start making our food until after making it for the later guests first. Then the chef stopped us to correct the food because the employee who told us order was good to go was wrong. When we left, a man who had ordered online in advance was still waiting for his food. If you do not have time to sit and wait for your food to come out like you're dining in, don't bother coming here at all.

A great spot! Food is absolutely amazing and the service is quick & friendly. My recommendation is to eat at the counter so you can watch them prepare it.

I have been visiting Chicago ramen since the very first location. I walked in to wheeling Chicago ramen and Eduardo the cook. And Medina de server said they closed the kitchen 20 min before closing. The sign said open. She argued with me that they can’t make ramen 20min before? Worst service.
