El Paisa Alegre has delicious Mexican food. I had an amazing experience today with the variety in the menu and the friendly and attentive owners. I ordered some tacos and soup and enjoyed them very much. I definitely will try more dishes.

This is by far my favorite place to go for Carnitas by the pound! Make sure you go early to grab the freshest batch! This place does sell out, so plan ahead and arrive early!

Paisa has the best tacos I’ve ever had. Hands down! The cabeza tacos are my favorite. The staff is extremely friendly and always welcomes me like family.

They have the best steak tacos. I grab lunch here since I work nearby. I bring my wife when we are in the area becasue she agrees that they are the best tacos around. The staff is always freindly! This is my favorite place in the Chicagoland area for tacos!

The service was outstanding, super friendly helpful. They provided me some food to tried it out without even asking for it. You can have really authentic Mexican food quality carnitas. The also have all different kind cueritos, costilla, corazón, carnitas, lengua all the different kind of carnitas that really authentic places only have not all mix up. They also have other dishes menudo, barbacoa etc. the service was a 5 star. I will definitely be back when I'm back into town.

I wish I could read this with more stars, Since the moment you walk in, installation is clean, Staff is super friendly and of course the food looks And tastes amazing. I had a Carnitas taco And let me tell you it it’s one of the best tacos I’ve had around here. 10 out of 10.

Nice little place in a strip mall that you'd miss if you weren't looking for it. Really good meat options that they chop up right in front of you. The only Mexican place by me that regularly offers goat and lamb (I've been to about 8 Mexican restaurants by me--does not include Americanized chain restaurants), which they have, I believe, from Friday through Sunday only. Definitely worth a try for takeout. Standard service and stool seating for 6-7 people only, so not a place to hang out.

I came with my friend we were in line to ordered some tacos to go and we saw a mice close by the kitchen it was so disgusting me and my friend walked away we didn't even bother to eat in this place never again please be aware
