We have been to this location many times, but last night was a terrible experience. We went to celebrate our 24th anniversary. The staff at the host stand was disengaged and unfriendly. We had to ask 4 times for a table & were never asked for a name for a waitlist. Finally we made a quick reservation & went back to the host stand at the time of our reservation & were still told that no tables were available. Then we located a table at the bar, but it was filthy & no staff came to clean it. A random bar staffer offered us a table on the patio, which we had been asking for since the beginning. Again, no customer service from the host or hostesses at all. Once seated, our waitress took our order. But we waited a very very long time for our appetizers, drank our wine, then waited about 45 minutes to pay the bill. Worst experience of costumer service we've ever had at this location.

The place was busy and it took 20 minutes to get drinks we ordered initially and then for refills. Our waitress was sweet and kind and was doing her best, but I think she had a lot of tables because it just took really long to get our requests in . I think the place needs more servers. My mom ordered the filet medallions which cost a lot . She ordered medium and they were overcooked and tough and she didn't eat 90 percent of this meal. There was no busing of the tables so we had dirty dishes crowding our table . This place is doing good business, but I am not sure why because the food was not up to par with the cost and they do not have enough people working to support the customers adequately . I wish I could say better things but I just can't .

walked in & was greated by aj & Joshua...they were very friendly & inviting...did a tasting with bridgette...she was very friendly & knowledgeable. sat at the bar with jamie...she was also so nice & told me so much about the wine club. the manager Eric fox came over & asked how everything was going...overall a great experience & I would come back!

We had dinner yesterday out on the patio, and the weather was perfect — nice and quiet, which made it great for conversation. I also learned something new: I usually avoid the calamari because it's too sweet for me, but our server, Caroline, suggested bringing the sauce on the side. That way it was nice and crispy, and I actually enjoyed it! The grouper was, as always, cooked just right — not too dry — which is why it's one of my favorite dishes here.

Very slow and inexperienced server on a night when restaurant was not busy. Disappointing since we've been to this restaurant many times and this was one of the worst experiences. Will consider if worth going back or not.

Always excellent service at the Cooper's Hawk in Wheeling. Manger greeted us a glass of wine and we sat down right at our reserved time. Brenden our server also was great.

I would leave zero stars for all categories if I could! The worst service ever! The server took our entire order and then we sat for at least 45 minutes with nothing, not even water! And no bread! Never got our drinks and we left before they could disrespect us any more! Never going back to their location in Wheeling again :(. The worst! Luckily for us they comped our bill—seriously????!!!!

We were celebrating our son's birthday. All of our meals were very good. Our server Carolina was excellent. We enjoyed our free bottle of wine celebrating Cooper's hawk anniversary.

What made our evening perfect from start to finish was the excellent service we received from Nicole. The food from Coopershawk is always delicious. We were celebrating our anniversary and all the extra unexpected touches made us smile.
