This place is simply amazing. I went there for a paint n sip and instantly knew I'd like to host an event there. I decided to have my 30th birthday party there. I rented out the private area, where you had the option of having your own DJ and personal Bartender. David, the owner, worked with me closely throughout the process. From helping me choose a DJ to helping with the food options. He made sure during the night that me and my guests were happy and satisfied. It was definitely a vibe there! All the guests had a great time and enjoyed the atmosphere. DeeJay Nez was great. He understood the assignment! The Theme was "Back to the 90s" he played a great mix of 90s/2000s. If you want to have a good time and relax, or need a space to host a party, I definitely recommend Social Bar and Grill! You won't be sorry! The food was amazing, music great, staff was friendly and attentive. 5 stars for this place. I'll definitely be back for their themed nights and to host another party! Thank David for a great time!

My friends and I came for the "brunch" and mimosas. We got there a bit before 12, which is when our reservation was (12pm). They told us to pick a table and seat ourselves. We were seated for a while and were wondering if they even got the memo that we got bottomless mimosas. So we had to ask one of the only severs there where our mimosas were since a table that had gotten there after us got served before us (we didn't bring that up, we asked nicely). It was advertised as brunch so we hadn't even eaten food beforehand, and it wasn't until an hour after that they dropped off paper menus. It was then 1:45 pm, and they still hadn't even asked our orders. Sure enough though, other people had gotten their order taken, though it even took a while until their food came. So we just decided to drink our mimosas and we were going to get food somewhere else after. After 2pm a worker came and said "you only had mimosas for 2 hours, so are you guys done?" We said yes, deciding we were about leave soon so we were waiting for our friend while she decided to use the bathroom before we left, when the same worker came to kick us out anyways with a group of people ready to take our table. Okay, mimosas and no food, got it! So we just stepped to the side and waited for our friend and left. I do want to give them the benefit of the doubt, since it seems to be their first "brunch" event but just know it was unorganized and a long wait time.

Always had the best food and great prices for years. Hadn’t been back for a few months but had my first bad experience 4 months ago, we came in and a young teen byron was seating us when we asked about happy hour he said we don’t have it any longer so we left. We came back recently 3 weeks ago to find out that he lied straight to our faces and that happy hour had never ended and never stopped we couldn’t believe it since we had never had an issue but hopefully this young kid matures grows up and doesn’t lie to any other customers. The meal we had was awesome the food was great as usual, the drinks were great and our waitress was great our most recent time back with no issues. Hopefully they reconsider when hiring young teens from now on and make sure they are being mature and honest with guests and check on how their service is.Parking: Usually able to find a spot easily, may not always be a close one but walking a few feet shouldn’t be an issue for people except the elderly or disabled on a crowded night when the parking lot fills up.

Being from Los Angeles, living in the North Shore Suburbs of Chicago and working in the Financial District now, and having visited restaurants and bars all over the world, I know a great bar when I visit one. This has to be one of the best places to visit outside of the City of Chicago if you want great music and DJs, friendly customer service, and above all, great food!The lead security guard and his team are always very professional and respectful, the owner takes this business seriously and is always checking on customers to ensure they're having a great time and running operations effectively, the bartenders and servers are very nice and friendly, and the food is definitely worth the visit as well. Shout-out to the lead chef (the owner's uncle) because they don't serve "bar food" - they offer an authentic southern-style menu!
