Nostalgia abound, I went to The Original Granny’s for the first time in 30 years and it is just as I remember! The food was great, service friendly, and the atmosphere what you would expect from a local diner. Stop by if you have the opportunity, you will not be disappointed!

My first time at the Original Granny’s and it was great! I loved the potatoes and the syrup for the pancakes had a fantastic flavor! The atmosphere gave it a really fun retro vibe. When I’m in this area again I’ll be back for sure!

Food was DELICIOUS! I had the “2 eggs any way” with turkey sausage, hash browns, and pancakes. The flavor on everything was really good. Price wasn’t too bad, and portions were good.

This restaurant has delicious food, great service and large portions. It might be old fashioned in its decor but we love it that way. It feels homey and not loud like other places. We highly recommend the restaurant.

This is a great place for breakfast. The food is delicious and coffee is just as good. Our server was on it with coffee refills and with our food. She and the owner were especially friendly as well. We will be back soon.

Sometimes I get hesitant about restaurants that have large menus, but after trying 4 different dishes (potato pancakes, pastrami sandwich with chicken tortilla soup, Loukoumada french toast, and Spartan omelet), I’m confident that everything on their menu would be yummy! Everything had great flavors (fresh, not too salty, not to sweet) and portions were generous. Everything was also reasonably priced. We left sooo full and when reheated at home, everything tasted just as good. In addition to the food, what takes this place over the top was the friendly and attentive service. We were never without water or coffee, seated and served quickly even though it was busy, and you can tell the staff has love and respect for each other and their guests! 10/10 would recommend and I will definitey be back!

Loved the atmosphere. Very busy restaurant with booths and tables. Appeared to be lots of regulars. Family oriented diner. Service was friendly and comfortable from the initial greeter, taking us to our booth, waitress, bussers, and to the cashier. 5/5 so far. But, we came to eat. We ordered the eggs Benedict with hash browns and the potato Benedict with bacon and fresh fruit. I found the hollandaise sauce to be lacking in that familiar bright yellow color and not much of a rich flavor. The eggs were ok. The ham was thick and tasty. The English muffins lacked crispness. The hasbrowns were browned but lacked crispness giving it a steamed soft texture. The food seemed under seasoned. The potato Benedict potato pancake was ok but the hollandaise sauce was the same, looking more like a pale mustard color with limited flavor or richness. The fruit cup was good. I liked the restaurant but would steer away from the eggs and hollandaise sauce as well as the hash browns. You might want to try their pancakes or french toast. Since food and taste are the most important part of my meal, I would give it a 3/5, only average rating.
