I have ate in the restaurant and ordered for delivery. Amazing both times. The chicken teriyaki bento box is a great deal! The California crunch roll is also very good. One of my favorite places in the neighborhood.

Ordered veggie gyoza delivery and they sent pork, made me very sick and was the first meat I’ve swallowed in 25 years due to their mistake. Vegetarians and especially those with allergies be very carefulVegetarian options: Received pork gyoza when I ordered veggie. Had a very similar experience tonight as far as the server asking us if we were ready to order before we sat down. Honestly not a big deal as we're not the type that needs attention or even a smile, but we definitely felt like we were a bother to the server. Saturday night and we were the only ones in there. Food was average, but certainly not coming back. I'll assume they prefer people not to dine in.

We visited for dinner one night as most restaurants in the area were closed. We came by the restaurant a little more than an hour before closing. And before we were even seated they asked us if we were ready to order as the kitchen is closing. I asked them what time they closed, they said you can sit here but the kitchen will be closed. So naturally we were rushing to order the first few things we saw on the menu. When we asked about drinks, she said, you can see the cooler, just grab what you want and we'll charge you for it. We were a little hesitant after that and just stuck with the room temp waters. Once our food came out, we truthfully didn't remember what we ordered so we asked her and she goes I'm not sure but if you look at the menu you can see. So just ate. My husband was craving fried rice so he ordered the chicken fried rice and it was essentially a bowl of rice with a hefty about of soy sauce, frozen vegetables and an egg on top. The vegetables were still rather frozen despite everything around it being hot. So he ate a few bites and just set it aside. Onto the sushi, I have no recollection of what we ordered... but they all tasted about the same and look the same. The tamago was nice. Overall the restaurant is a family run restaurant, we would've just enjoyed our experience better if we had more communication and service.

The sushi was really good- fresh and rolled well, however a bit pricy. It seems like there is counter service; I ordered from the counter. However, the person came from behind the counter to take an order from a different table- so, maybe either way? There are a lot of rolls to choose from, but many seem very similar.Dietary restrictions: There were a limited number of gluten-friendly items. Most of the maki rolls have imitation crab, tempura or crunch things.

I really enjoyed this meal! I have never been to Wajo Sushi before this visit but wanted to get some takeout to try it. The reviews were good. When I walked in the restaurant it had a small, cozy feel to it. I was surprised by the presentation of the meal because I wasn't expecting much for a pickup order. The sushi was delicious and I'd definitely come here again!
