Unfortunately when they downsized their menu, they lost me as a customer. No more pork chop sandwiches (hard to find anywhere), no more sausages, no more meatball sandwiches (they had the best hands down), no more bowls of any kind, no more deli sandwiches (not the best anyway). Now youre just another hot dog and burger joint with nothing on the menu that sets you apart...which I can get anywhere. I'll probably come in for your donuts once in a while...unless that's on its way out too...ugh.

Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious, with my favorites being the spicy chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, and the famous chi-fries. Don't forget to try the homemade donuts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The service is always with a smile and lives up to it's "Chicago" neighborhood name. Chi-Shack is a hidden gem!

I came across this place in march and been coming here for any excuse possible but especially for the donuts here, the customer service here has always been great and never without a smile from the workers here always greeting me with either a Goodmorning afternoon or evening. I’ve brought multiples of my friends family and partner here many times before they’ve all agreed that this place is quite special and the food. Speaking of the food here, yes it takes a little bit of time to make it but it’s all the reason this place is the best BECAUSE the food all comes out fresh hot and always amazing!! The shakes here are just perfect, the salads they have here are great. The multiple choices of donuts they have is great first time coming here they surprised me with all the choices they have and I’ve bought multiple dozens for my coworkers and they’ve all enjoy it and possibly came here as well. Overall this place truly is great and a wonderful pick to have whenever craving meat chicken or vegetables. 100/10 would recommend
