Jo Jo Japanese Hibachi & Sushi

We were there last night for my birthday. It was absolutely the best. The nicest people work there. The best food. The best atmosphere. So impressed! Thank you making my birthday special.

We love Jojo! The rolls and hibachi are delicious. I would only recommend updating the restrooms.

We had visited once long ago when they first opened and it was okay, a little pricey but not too bad at that time. However, I don't know what these guys are thinking nowadays, but their prices are absolutely off the wall insane ! It was no wonder there was only one other table seated.

We sat down, reviewed the menu for a bit, and kindly got up and left.

Sushi rolls are upwards of $22. and from what we remembered, they weren't *that* great when we visited before...

Also, the place smelled like lots of cleaning solution, and the tables and seats were pretty beat up. The floor was also sticky. Not very appealing.

We ended up looking for another place to go since we were really craving Sushi and it was a Monday, (meaning many Sushi places are closed,) but we ended up finding this REALLY cool place called All Blue Sushi in Bolingbrook.

Unfortunately, we will never be back.

I read a few of the other reviews and your responses, and it is apparent to me that you do not know how to take constructive criticism.
Unfortunately your menu is terribly expensive and overpriced... I fully understand prices have gone up everywhere, but my family member works at another local sushi restaurant, and they are still very affordable even after doing major upgrades to their facility.

I am allowed to give honest feedback -- and please know I am not being rude.

We were extremely polite to our Server, why else shouldn't we be ? but unfortunately, we just didn't feel like the menu suited our desires and remembering our last experience, didn't feel that it was worth it.

I'm sorry my review didn't make you happy, but you may want to reconsider your menu pricing or offer some specials that bring in more customers...

I think the one thing it seems you really have going for you is basically being the only hibachi nearby since Tai San is no longer offering it.

Also, it's okay to receive negative feedback, but it's how you respond to it that shows your level of professionalism.

Staff is always happy and friendly. The hibachi is always cooked perfectly. Best bang for your buck in the area

we had a reservation delay at Benihana and decided to call JoJo and see if they may fit us in. They had a space just for us and we headed to JOJO. It took us 15 minutes to get there, but it was worth everything single second. We had a good feeling just right after we entered. great tasty good , great service and highly recommended

We had to wait in line, regardless of the fact that we had a reservation. Staff was not friendly or attentive. Inside seemed rundown, dirty, and seem to lack adequate ventilation so there was quite an odor. Food was ehh

All employees, except the hibachi chef were so unwelcoming,tired,and completely unprofessional. They couldn't wait for us to leave. I still had food in my mouth when they brought me to go bag. Food like always is delicious, but sad to have employees like that.

First time eating at Jo Jo's. Food was very good. Service also was very good. Price is on the higher side. But we had a coupon that helped to reduce the cost. Will go back again.

Always a great time when we stop in for tasty dinner and a show. They are so wonderful with the kids!

My family and I recently visited Jojo Japanese hibachi and sushi in Willowbrook il, first time visiting. Google review gave it a 4.2 out of 435 reviews. I reach out to celebrate the birthdays of my late sister who recently passed and my mother. I specifically mentioned this when making the reservation. Expecting staff to help make our experience special. We had a 3pm reservation, but despite no visible crowd, the service felt incredibly rushed throughout our meal. To make matters worse, and add insult to the bad experience. I asked for a to-go cup for my son's dr. Pepper and the server made an inappropriate remark about not putting alcohol in it. Not only was the assumption unwarranted, but it also felt odd and was unprofessional comment. Overall experience was incredibly disappointing, especially considering the special nature of the occasion and treatment as a person. I do not regret saying my family and I will not ever be returning to jo jo Japanese hibachi & sushi located at 7409 Kingery Hwy, Willowbrook, IL 60527.

We had a good time at Jo Jo's. we sat at a grill. The atmosphere was great! Our chef, Jay did a fantastic job and was engaging and entertaining. The food was really tasty and the drinks were good. We will certainly go back.

We were a party of 5. Made reservations and were promptly seated. Three had the hibachi while two others order aka carte. The pink dragon sushi roll was enjoyed by a couple people. The noodles with chicken were ok but could have used more seasoning. The rest of us ordered different hibachi dinners. The scallops had to have been the best. The chicken and steak were tender but they could also have used more season to de some flavor. I'd love to go back simply for the experience as the customer service was exceptional. Our chef did a good job of including everyone in our party so we all had a good time. Even the picky eaters said they would love to go back. Thank you for a nice family outing!

My son went with friends for his 16th Birthday They had a great time, tons of food and the chef was amazing they said.

Service was horrible. The restaurant seating is falling a part. The food was way overpriced for what it was. The staff did not check on us and never brought us half our food we ordered but still put it on the receipt.
