Been ordering here for years and have never experienced a compromise on quantity or quality. Also one of the best egg rolls.
Edit, previously 5 stars: after nearly a dozen years of this being the absolute best places in town, it unfortunately has taken a turn towards the absolute worst. Portions have become slightly smaller, but the quality has dived. In addition, they have begun using new packaging for the food that allows the contents of your meal to seap through. See photos for how the order was CHOSEN to be delivered to me. Big shame, hoping to come back and give back 5 stars, but in the current state, this is a shop to avoid.

Well kept up for 50 years in the area , I remember eating here in high school as it is across from Hinsdale South HS and the employees were very pleasant and accommodating. Thank you for the awesome Boba drinks yum banana and pineapple WOW!

We love Malahini Terrace! It is our favorite place. My spouse and I usually eat in under the cute thatch huts and twinkle lights. We get the meal for 2, which includes soup (hot & sour, egg drop) egg rolls & crab rangoon, and choice of two entries. Our picks are the Oriental Plate (pork fried rice, BBQ pork & BBQ ribs) and the Malahini Beef (tender straps of beef and veggies). This last time, we ordered out to feed our family of eight. Plenty of food, with leftovers for another day! Don't forget the fortune cookies and the silly way to read them. Wink wink.Always delicious! Yum!
We live both dine in and takeout from Malahini Terrace. The vibe of the restaurant is Polynesian and gives a warm weather vibe break from the grey, cold, snowy wintertime. Their drink specials are always amazing and the food is exactly what you would expect, but for wonderful prices and with excellent family service. We also appreciate their fast delivery which they coordinate themselves so there is no up charge for it like you see on various food delivery apps. This time we ordered dinner in but have gotten lunch and dinner both delivered and in house over the course of 10 years with no issues.
Vegetarian options: You can also ask them to style use a dish for you they are super accommodating. I usually ask for no MSG and don’t have an issue getting it. Several friends have gone in and had great vegetarian meals.
Parking: Huge parking lot for the strip mall and rarely ever fills up.
Wheelchair accessibility: This place is ideal if you have a family member or friend who uses equipment. I can’t speak for the bathroom, but the access in and out is completely doable.

Mr Hazucka was dead on with his review.Read it while “eating” my food. General Taos chicken with vegetables.My plate came and there were 3 pieces of small green pepper - yea - THREEI asked the waitress(?) - she looked at my plate and said “yes - 3 piece of pepper”Whhhaaat? Not to add insult to injury but the chicken came next - all dark meat and the vast majority of that was breading - just bad. Sons did not enjoy his lo mein - very different than other restaurants- much larger & wider noodle than typical lo mein dishes.
