Portillo’s delivered. The food was amazing from start to finish. The hot dogs were absolutely on point, full of flavor and done exactly how they should be. Everything we ordered came out fairly quick, fresh, and tasted great.
The overall experience really stood out, and a big part of that was Kenny, the leader on duty. He was friendly, professional, and clearly runs a tight ship. You can tell when a place is well led, and it shows in the service and the quality. Portillo’s is very lucky to have someone like him in a leadership role.
As a business owner, I respect places that do it right. This location did exactly that. I’d come back without hesitation and highly recommend it.

My husband and I make a point of getting a meal and take out before heading back home to Michigan whenever we come to Illinois. The service is friendly and efficient. The food is always fresh, hot and tasty. We love the Italian beef sandwiches, meatballs and gravy, hot dogs and chocolate cake to die for! We never leave without 2 1/2 lbs of frozen Italian beef to go with the aujus. Thank you Portillos!!!...please open up a location near St. Joseph, MI!!!

On January 7th around 1030 I arrived to pick up an order. I gave the lady behind the to-go counter the pickup name. She said it would just be a few minutes. She said that without checking on the order looking at the screen. After waiting 5 minutes I asked if she knew how long it would be and she said I don't know. Once again without bothering to check the screen or even check on the order. The sad part about it is she looked like she was one of the managers

Ribs where the meat falls off the bone and incredibly flavorful. Not to mention, friendly staff.
Oh yeah, the atmosphere was set with a 3 piece jazz band. I'd go back once a week if I lived here.

Drive thru stinks. Called in order and still had to wait for order. Defeats the entire purpose of ordering ahead. I thought they would have fixed this issue but guess not. I give them a zero if I could. I'm going to tell everyone I know to avoid this place like the plague.

Decided to try this location again after 3 years. Food was great but the service was disappointing still. Had to point out i was missing a cake on my order and the associate just dropped it on my tray without so much as a quick apology but proceeded to act like I was bothering them. I then proceed to grab a cup of water that was down the counter and was abruptly told that these are not self serve and I need to ask for them. Im not looking for 3 star service but helpfulness and friendliness doesn't cost a thing. Im going to go back frequenting the Bolingbrook location again. Staff at Willowbrook needs retraining or to not be working customer facing jobs.

This locations is awful! Every single time I go here they short me on fries, the container is barely half full. The other locations in Summit or Forest Park are so much better. My last time going here they do this EVERY TIME!!

ADAM the guy at the drive though on Monday the 22nd, at night, WAS AMAZING! He showed me real enthusiasm and I liked that he made me and my boyfriend laugh. Give that man a raise because he deserves it!!

I've been going to portillo's for decades and I have to say this is the first time I've been dissatisfied & actually truly disappointed by the service. Considering most of my visits have been during lunch or dinner rush hours. Where tonight, it was quite empty for a Saturday night at 9pm the weekend before Christmas. Considering that, the service was more than slow when I came in to pick up my online order. It consisted of a bunch of teenagers pointing fingers at who should be filling my order..10 minutes past the pick up time. I wasn't the only one waiting on an order past the stated time. It would have been less maddening if one of the 6 or 7 entitled employees apologized or even said, we're working on it. But, I guess that's asking too much?! When my order was finally done on the other side than indicated to pick online orders, she actually tossed it at me, LOL. I felt stupid mumbling thank you (because I'm from a generation of manners) she said a condescending THANK YOU when I was walking away, with a chuckle from her and her co-chuckleheads. In times like these it makes me wonder and think why would I go back to that place? They clearly don't appreciate long time patronage. Shame on you & tge management that let's that happen.

When I arrive there, I asked the cashier that I wanted a fresh cheeseburger off the grill,,so I stood by the window and watched the guy preparing the food ...there was alot of cheeseburgers on the panel where they fall at,after the burgers come off the grill. He was going to give me one of those burgers and I told him can you please get me a fresh cheeseburger like I ordered it, he got confrontational with me..,and another coworker was adjutatating the situation,,so I asked for a manager,,and I told her the problem,,and she fixed the problem and gave me the fresh burger I requested from the beginning,,very unprofessional workers and getto,,stay away from this place..

Never snow plows near the entire front of door there is going to be a deadly accident by a car sliding into a pedestrian or someone falling

Used a kiosk, I ordered the polish sausage but didn't get the roll with it. Food was sub-par for being so expensive. They also didn't give me the garlic bread I ordered and paid for.
