The flatbread appetizer was good. My crab salad had no flavor. The fries were very well done and dry. My husband liked his burger but I could have stayed home for a burger. Drinks were great!
My husband and I went for dinner last night 6/22/23 . Our first clue should have been when the waiter/bartender asked us to wait a bit before ordering as they had a large group outside. We said no problem. When I asked about a chicken entree being chicken breast , No it was chicken thighs. Guest had complained chicken breast were dry ! 2nd. Clue. My husband ordered Cajun shrimp fettuccine entree, Cajun seasoning sprinkled on top of the shrimp. Green beans. I ended up ordering Cuban cigars and gree beans. Afraid to order an entree at this point, one of bite of each. Nasty! The green beans had a strange oil on them. Needless to say this will be our last time going there. When red flags come up Run !
I took my daughters to dinner there in Sunday 5/14/2023. I chose Big Fish because it has been my favorite for years and I wanted to celebrate my 60th Birthday with my daughters there. So disappointed.A very unfriendly waitress. Almost rude. The appetizer was burnt to a crisp. How does Bruchetta get burned,,, i know it happens but to serve it that way?I had to ask twice for appetizer plates,,, poor service this time.My dinner , Salmon Wellington,,, usually fantastic,, was terrible.non edible,, so soggy and tried to cover it up with way too much Dijon sauce,,, it was like soup.My daughters shrimp were mostly breading.I am glad I have enjoyed Big Fish Grille for 18 years, but Sunday was my last visit to there.Poor Service and poor food for the price is just a Red Flag
Parking: The restaurant was about empty like the bar but there was no parking except in the "Members Only" areaa.
My son and his family took me out for dinner on Mother’s Day. There were 6 fish meals that were ordered and not one was completely cooked. They weren’t very busy at the time we were there. We waited over an hour to get our meals. This wasn’t our first time eating there but will be a very long time to return if ever.
We had Easter Sunday brunch. Oysters were fresh, I had a crab cake hollandaise entree and my mate had crab cake rolls.Service was spot on.Hadn’t been here in a while, but nice to see it rolling again. The food is good, but the views of the river are great.
Someone needs to call Ramsey. Very unsatisfied!! 2 raw burgers, half the calamari was cut too thick.Unfortunately my mother's 60th birthday dinner was the worst.
Staff are always so pleasant. Always greeted and even when we have no reservations, the staff try to accommodate with a smile ?I love their Cobb salad and their red snapper. Delicious. We have never received poor service or food
Food was fine but wait staff was pretty slow. The parking situation is weird and confusing. There are automated gates that make the area looked locked down. Roads are gravel. It was difficult to fins our way
It was my first time here and I'm definitely coming back. I ordered the blackened salmon and I loved it. We also ordered some oysters and they were really good. They have a nice selection of dishes.
We were seated, the waitress brought us menus, and then promptly disappeared for 20+ minutes. We walked out, and the host just said, "Have a good evening!" The evening would have been better if we had been served.

willBig fish has gone down hill. The service wss very poor. While we were there there was less then 10 couples there and there were plenty of empty tables they made us wait over 10 minutes to be seated in the bar area. Once seated they would not take the order for another 25 minutes. A couple had come after 20 minutes after us and there order was taken right after they were seated. Big Fish also short change us on our bill. We will no longer visit Big Fish what a shame since we used to go there weekly before it change ownership.
This was my third time at big fish and a family birthday celebration. Very disappointing trip this time. Will not be returning, server never said her name was rude and overwhelmed. Our reservation time was changed with less than 24 noticed and were never asked if that was ok. Food was merely mediocre and only warm.
Highly priced for poor quality food. We got oysters to start, and they looked like they were shucked days prior and were all dried out. The taste wasn’t very appealing either. Ordered a bunch of appetizers—also not good. Gumbo was bland. Hurricane cocktail was also very bland. Very nice staff. Maybe it was an off night for the cook, but serving subpar seafood at a 5-star rate will not be having us back.
I’ve been to Big Fish Grille a number of times and have always been more then satisfied with the food and service. However this time I can say I don’t know if I’ll ever be back. I sat and waited for service. When finally serviced a bowl of hot broth that was sold as French Onion soup I was going say something to the waitress but she never came back. I paid my bar tab and walked out. Very disappointed this was always one of my favorite places. I hope they get their act together.
The place came highly recommend by many that we know. But the day we went maybe it wasn't their best day. For me personally i had the burger and thought it was very good. The fries that came with it was (blackish) tasted ok but looking at them they looked like they were cut from old potatoes. The others had the fish platter and came with big shrimp and crab cakes. The fish breading was soggy and it just fell apart almost like it had been re heated in a microwave. The crab cakes was overwhelmed with whatever they add to it(horse radish maybe) so that wasn't good either. But because so many people have so much good to say about the place i will try it again and i will update this review with our experience then.
