A friend whose taste I trust told me about this breakfast/lunch spot- glad he did. Tucked away in a small strip center , this is a gem I had eggs, crispy hash browns and delicious country ham. My wife had a very large gyros omelette She is a stickler for good coffee and said this place passes on her rating system Roomy booths and tables in a large room provide enough space for all Just go - you will love it
Angie was my server both days I ate there. The first day, I had eggs Benedict. It was pretty good but I was disappointed that the hollandaise sauce seemed a bit runny. I brought friends back two days later (they are closed on Wednesday) and really enjoyed the meal. I'm picky about corned beef hash. Lucky Penny's was doggone good!
This restaurant is off the beaten path and thankfully for GPS I would have missed it. The place is small but inviting. The wife and enjoyed our breakfast and to be perfectly honest I normally steer clear of hash browns due to poor seasoning not in this case. They were seasoned and cooked well for nice crunchy top. Only downside is for being a smaller restaurant the background noise was loud making it difficult hard to hear and to engage in conversation with raising our voices to hear each other. I definitely would recommend this place!!!!
Selected this eatery from the website, served breakfast all day. I had 2 eggs over easy with bacon, hash browns and toast at 1:30 pm. Everything I ordered was cooked perfectly, eggs a little runny, bacon, just short of crispy and the hash browns were different and tasty. Hubby has hash and poached eggs, again all cooked to his liking. If time allows on our visit, we will return for breakfast.
Nothing special. We ordered delivery for work lunch and everyone had the same consensus. Nothing special, probably won't order again. Wrap was very wet and messy and burgers were alright.
This has become my go-to place for breakfast in Naperville (I finally went there for lunch and it was also delicious, but I really enjoy the breakfasts :)). The service is great, coffee is good, and the breakfasts are yummy. The skillets are my absolute favorite, and I love how they actually listen to how you want your food. Whether it's eggs over hard, scrambled soft (yuck, but one of my breakfast companions loves this) or toast that's dry.... they seem to always get it right. They're also great with allergies and ingredients, and there are lots of vegan/vegetarian options. The donuts are dangerously good, as is the homemade jam. Honestly, I've never had a bad breakfast here in over a dozen visits. Finally, they are very good about not rushing you. I've sat with friends for hours (not when they are very busy!) and they will bring us coffee with a smile over and over again. Great people and great restaurant.
Referred by a friend. In the area, had a taste for a cheese burger. We are vegetarian- checked out the menu. They had the Beyond Burger, delicious! We will go back to try breakfast. Small restaurant in a strip mall, a must go.
We went here based on reviews and were. Ot disappointed. Most items are 8 to 12 dollars and generous serving sizes. Definitely something for everyone. Reminds me of a old dinner. The only thing that wasnt really good was the donuts they were nothing special and I would.order those again. Service was decent not overly friendly but they did their job. Watch the hours they are only open into the afternoon. We would go back and everyone on the teams wishes they would have done breakfast with us after seeing the pictures
Service is always quick and the food is always good. The pancakes are like clouds they are so good. I also recommend the chicken and waffles. The food is wonderful. The service is great. The only reason why I am not giving it 5 stars is because it is a little on the pricey side.
Met a cousin there for breakfast on Sunday. There were 5 of us in the group. Each had something slightly different, but each enjoyed their meal thoroughly. Service was excellent. While not in our backyard, it was worth the drive. Would make the drive again.

Penny has brought back Wilma's sense of home cooking (this restaurant has been many incarnations,) and I regularly enjoy breakfast there after working out with my partner. During the week we see other regulars, and the place is bustling on the weekends. If you like jam, its all homemade! Worth your time, and they accommodate gluten free needs too.
