went to Topgolf today with my family, expecting a fun outing, but we were extremely disappointed. The manager was clearly on a power trip. her attitude was rude and condescending from the start. She refused to let us into our bay without giving a clear reason and was completely obnoxious about drink orders. Her behavior made the entire experience uncomfortable and frustrating. Definitely not the level of service you’d expect from a place like this. We won’t be coming back.
Unpleasant and disappointing experience.
We recently visited Topgolf Schaumburg and had a very disappointing experience that ruined what should have been a fun afternoon. While we understand the need to check IDs for alcohol, their policy requiring both an ID and a credit card for each individual is excessive and wasn’t clearly communicated ahead of time. One member of our group didn’t have both, and despite complying with the policy by not serving them, the staff seemed overly focused on our group — watching us closely to make sure drinks weren’t shared.
Things escalated when we were falsely accused of sharing a drink with that person. A staff member claimed they saw them take a sip and reported it to the manager, who then tried to evict us from the venue. Fortunately, we insisted they check the security footage, which confirmed that no drink was shared. They did eventually apologize, but by that time, the damage was done and the atmosphere was completely ruined.
Overall, it felt like we were being treated more like suspects than guests. A simple misunderstanding turned into an unnecessarily stressful situation, and we left with a very sour impression.
we had a blast despite our server seemed to be a little racist and made it seem as if we were not going to pay our bill on a few occasions that day . reminded me three times of our balance. He seemed a bit scared of my husband who has a tattoo on his face. we did not act with nothing but respect and understanding. it was 10 ppl and only my husband has tattoo on his face. we all work and just went out to celebrate a bday and we were treated badly for no apparent reason. i did not want to tip him but i still did. I'm hoping he had a bad day and that's the reason because it was so much fun despite the rest of this we spend well over $600 as well
My cousin felt discriminated and I’ve been living in America for my entire life. My cousin has a green card Visa and showed his passport to get drinks from while golfing, while they clearly had no knowledge of looking further showing it’s a green card. Yet they said “you need a US passport or a US card to get drinks”. As far as everything the manager needs more education to learn how to read and think before speaking.

I visited this Top Golf in Schaumburg for the first time in this country. The facilities are good and the food is good.
$78 Dollars well spent.
My problem was, the day after this visit, I was charged $50 extra on my credit card, with no explanation.
I called the facility via my mobile and spoke to a lady who after listening to my concern, she asked me to call back later as she couldn’t hear me. I called her back on 2 separate land lines and she claimed she couldn’t hear me or assist me.
She asked if I tipped $50… which of course I absolutely did not.
Beware of this extra charge scam that appears to be happening at this golf facility.
Management- feel free to contact me for further details regarding this unacceptable and unauthorized transaction.

We came for my friends birthday and we had a blast! Jess was our server and she was so great at recommending food and drinks- she was quick to ensure our glasses were never empty and Phil made sure we didn’t have any confusion or questions about the game play and new games at top golf. Will be back!

Of course, I understand when you go to TopGolf, you aren’t just paying for hitting balls. You pay for the atmosphere, experience, technology, everything. But for 90 minutes, paying $72 is just insane. We didn’t order any food or drink. You better hit alot of balls; every second you spend distracted by your group is literally costing you. It’s a fun experience of course, but just too much money in my opinion.
Hello, I’m usually not someone to write reviews but the way both of these employees treated my family and I was in a very disrespectful manner. It seemed that we were treated in such a horrible manner based upon our ethnicity. We were denied entrance and we had drove more than an hour to celebrate our cousins birthday. I’m very disappointed with the customer service provided it was extremely dismissive, unwelcoming, and we felt very uncomfortable. Both these employees lack professionalism skills and basic decency.

Easy check-in. Greeted at the counter, assisted immediately. Our bay was clean, warm, and everything was functioning. Our server was helpful, polite, and at one point a manager came to check on us.

To the top golf management, I made a call today and spoke with one of your workers and the conversation was unpleasant. I was excited about visiting top golf and within 1 minute of speaking with the employee my spirits were brought down. The employee didn't seem to want to be bothered or answer my questions and sounded as if she was irritated by me asking questions, therefore I asked to speak with a Supervisor or Manager.
I have never been to Top Golf and only gave it 5 stars because the supervisor/manager I spoke with was very pleasant and patient when answering my questions. I know I told the manager I would visit in January, but I'm not so sure now. I don't feel that good or excited about visiting now. I can only hope that if I have a change of heart to visit Topgolf that the rest of the staff is more pleasant than the employee I spoke with 30 minutes ago.
