I took a sampling of almost everything just to try to see what I liked Disappointed that everything was overly sugary Not very many savory selections You can tell the sauces are not made from scratch There’s very little differentiation on how they cook their Chicken. It is all prepped the same way just different sauces The fried rice is pretty bland and their vegetable cutting was very large Coconut shrimp, and the peppered pork were probably the best that I had from there Everything else was very mediocre and extremely sugary Definitely sticking to China buffet in Alton But thank you for the hospitality Family of three to go was $45 for dinner

The buffet is overwhelmingly large, but make no mistake: you are giving up quality for quantity if you choose this place over the China Buffet in Alton. Alton’s restaurant makes everything delicious. Everything they make is made from a recipe. Best Buffet boils chicken in large batches and then adds a ridiculous amount of sauces. Then they slap a name on it. I challenge anyone to try the peanut butter chicken at the China Buffet. Then try this disgusting mess called peanut butter chicken at the worst Buffet grill. They melt peanut butter and poured it over the chicken! It's supposed to be sweet AND SAVORY! ALL the meats are hard and chewy. Like a damn dog treat. I'm literally not joking. This place was closed down because of their practices. They reopen and dropped their price per pound and now I know why! Yuck bro!!! WTH is wrong with yall?!

Got take out. It's a good deal for a good meal. Go at 11, it's all hot and fresh.
Average place, not the best, not the worst; arrived at 3pm and lunch ends at 3:30pm. We did not get any of the dinner items, we paid at 3:45pm, and we were charged the dinner price. Not cool. 1 plate for over 18.00 was not worth it. Unfortunately, options are limited in this area for decent Chinese food and even more limited for buffets. LIke I said- not the worst, not the best.

Came in around 12:50 all the food old barely warm just sitting it look like they haven't change some of the food since the morning rush. If your planning on eating at a buffet I suggest looking around some more cause this place is more of a miss than a hit. But service is normal.
I ordered take out here. Not good, the fried rice was under cooked and still crunchy. The egg roll was hard and cold. The wanton soup was orange and had an after take of cinnamon. Couldn't eat any of it.
