Went for steak and shake this evening and got our usual meal and we were greeted by a friendly employee Erica, very kind and even heard her thank a veteran for his service. If you happen to meet this lady I know you were in good hands. 5 ⭐ definitely going again; food and service is great!

Food didn’t taste that good. The floors were sticky and gross the bathroom was stinky and trashy. We got the wrong order and had to bring it back up and they remaid it. Customer service was great but food was crap and restaurant was not clean.

The ppl who work here r super rude..I asked how to pay and they was overly rude telling me to use the kiosk..also they make u scan a piece of paper in order to get a drink..it's like walking in to a penal Institution..wow wood river steak n shake..u afraid to tell a customer they didn't buy a soda? Skip this location go to the next

Wood River restaurant is horrible. They don't toast the buns anymore, which leaves them soggy. Fries were dry and cold. Had to scan a code to get a drink, and they want a tip?? Don't waste your time at this one.

Picked up for doordash it took them a couple of minutes before they finally acknowledged it was even there. They bring me Mr order which was 5 drinks. No drink holder and when I asked for one they said they was out. There always out it seems like when somebody from doordash Uber eats grubhub picks up an order. Good thing I grabbed some cup holders from taco bell cause hey there never out.
