Wood River Donut N More

I went to this place this morning at 6:30am to get donuts for my guys, needed 4 dozen glaze. The lady was completely rude. She weighed about 300 lbs and had purple hair. Very pouty attitude and asked me 3 times if I really needed that many. As she was getting them she proceeded to tell me that I needed to call for that many and that I wouldn't just walk in to a cake place and ask for wedding cake the same day. Not sure how that is even a comparison to a donut shop. Guess she didn't want to work that hard this early in the morning. Shame, this place has been around a long time. I usually go to Mister Donut in Alton, great service and product and thought to give this place a try and definitely won't be back.

Great place to go have a cup of coffee and a doughnut.

They need to take the LINK CARD again. I mean it is another form of payment; just like a credit card. If there is food that is sold there then a food card should be an exceptable method of payment!!!..
Let's start petition to bring back that option when paying for your meal there. Thanks everyone that's vote for the link card to b used there again.

Update for 2024. This quaint little donut shop has really gone downhill. I came in at 3:30 pm on a Saturday and there were only 6 donuts in the case. I've never seen it so empty. I asked the young lady if there were any more being made today and she said no. I'm not sure what they will be selling until close (supposedly 9pm) but I walked out without anything. I suppose they have soup. So if you came looking for donuts you could always get soup.

It's an old-fashioned donut shop. The only thing I don't care for is the video gambling but otherwise a great place to have a cup of coffee and a couple of donuts. Try the blueberry cake!

I absolutely love this place. They are fast and friendly. I have never had any issues. The food is hot and fresh. I would recommend any to come here. Just wish the parking was better.

For a donut shop that is open all day, they sure run out of donuts first thing in the moring and don't restock. The last 4 times I have been in there, later moring they been out :( but yet still have hours left of operation.

Love this little place. They actually still make the donuts. You can tell a big difference Don't get to go there as often as I would like

I have been coming to this place since I was a kid. Though it has changed ownership, the donuts remain the same and to date, are still the best donuts I have ever had. Be sure to get there early in the morning for favorites like the Cream Filled Long John!

This place is the best donut experience I have ever had. The one chocolate frosted donut, was perfectly GLAZED. The staff was soooooo nice. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND.
