I'm giving Al's a 4 for now. A while back I wasn't impressed. Seemed to get my orders wrong and the pizza just didn't measure up to the location in Cicero. So I was on a break for well over a year. One day decide to give it a shot mainly because I really don't want a chain pizza or what I call "Vacation " pizza. I'm glad I did because it was really really good. Took advantage of their 2 pizza deal one Monday night and was very pleased. I will still argue that they call it toppings for a reason, pepperoni should be one top. Not underneath...lol But that's my opinion. Have been back twice and same great experience.
Al's one of the best places I can imagine to eat. Super friendly people really good food fabulous pricing his chicken is just awesome. He also makes an incredible pizza that makes the southside of Chicago feel bad started by his father it is now just a great place to eat

I love them! Food and employees! My girlfriend was having a bad day. I asked them just to write I love you and hope you feel better on each box of pizza.. thinking it would just be a scribble! Nope that artist the heck out of it!!! Cartoon teddy bears and an amazing heart drawing with the words I love you! If I could give more stars I would! Also! Pizza puffs are the best!!!! And salads!

I wanted a vegetarian pizza no mushrooms. They told me no. Not al all. I will never reccomend a pizza place where I can't get what I want on a pizza

probably some of the best food i ate from any pizza place. i had ordered eggplant parm and cheese fries they said it would be here in an hour which is got here in 40 mins so already i was happy, on top of that it was as if i was eating my mothers cooking it was so good. honestly can't wait to try the other food next time i order.
