I've been eating Pepe's for almost as long as I can remember and have been visiting this particular location in Woodridge for nearly 40 years!! These days I have to go out of my way to visit. There are other Pepe's that are closer, but this one is by far their best around imo. Love Pepe's tacos (they're very good tacos), and really everything on their menu. This location is very comfortable and provides friendly service.

I would not go back again. Food was ok the cookies they gave us we're expired by 3 months and tasted funny. The shell hold8ng the guacamole also tasted funny. Once we got our food service never came back. There are better choices out there for Mexican.

I walked into the store was standing there for 10-15 minutes no one greeted me or even attempted to take my order this guy comes in the worker came from behind the counter greeted him and took his order looked directly at me and went back to working the guy came to the register at the counter I was standing at smiled but not once asked can he take my order at this moment I'm pissed because it felt like I was being discriminated against for being black so I walked out. I then turned around and walked back in asked to speak with the manager in which I explained how rude it was she tells me the worker who took the guy order don't take orders but if that was the case why the hell did she take his order then ? Exactly racist rudest place I've ever been too and sad part is I love Pepe's I'd rather travel to the south side of Chicago before I ever give this place my hard earned money. Bad for business and to think I was going to have a taco and tequila party here they just lost my business .I'll look elsewhere.

Great margaritas! Had the fajita burrito, delicious! Others in party had steak tacos and cleaned their plate. Server (sorry, didn't catch her name) was fantastic! She was friendly and attentive.

Was forced to use a site to place an order because they no longer take orders over the phone.
Orseing was easy, but then after I tipped, the next page showed a service fee for placing the order online.
So, I'm done with them.

Food was pretty good! I was pleasantly surprised that my toddler even ate the mini tacos lol. I felt like my daquiri was maybe light on the alcohol but it turned out it wasn’t equally dispersed lol.
I felt food was adequately priced except for the fajitas which we felt were $5 too much. Our waitress Sara was wonderful.
I would LOVE if both bathrooms had a changing table though. We have two kiddos and it leaves me having to take each kid one at a time.
Our also would love a light above the toilet in the woman’s restroom !

You have got to be kidding me! This is what a $19 plate of quesadillas looks like. A few pieces of tasteless, dried up chicken tossed inside dried up tortilla pieces and thrown in a styrofoam container. Tiny containers of guac (1) and peppers (2). An additional $11 for a small bag of chips and a cup of salsa. In all, paid around $34 and it included an administrative fee. How a restaurant operates like this is just beyond me. I deserve a refund to be served garbage as such but that would mean walking back into this restaurant which I will never ever do. This place deserves a negative rating but one star is the lowest ranking possible and the chips and salsa were edible. In all, an absolutely appalling experience and a joke of a restaurant. This restaurant cannot be allowed to continue doing what they do. A search of recent reviews on google and yelp will clearly demonstrate my thoughts are shared by many.
