The beer is not too bad and priced well. Decor is minimalist and not particularly memorable. What gave this a 1 star was I got food poisoning after eating at the sandwich vendor they partner with.

Skeleton key is a wonderful brewery that has a very wide drink menu. It is a welcoming space, very inclusive and friendly. They don't blast the music so you can actually have a conversation.

I had my 21st birthday party here and it was so amazing!! I'm so glad my first beer was a Skeleton Key beer and all of my guests were floored by the wonderful atmosphere and amazing drinks!

We had our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at Skeleton Key and would recommend everyone else that is looking to do the same! They were so helpful in setting everything up, helping us find a caterer, and were just incredibly thoughtful. They were easy to coordinate with and thought of everything - one of the easiest vendors to work with. Our guests loved the atmosphere and all of the beers! 100% will be going back!!

For the IPA craft beer fans this is a great place to enjoy aromas like malty October Fest ! For the Pilsner aficionados is no surprise here because what sells os hops.The music and in between sets story-telling by Paul Anelka Trio made the outing truly special. Dominating flavors for light beers was sour and citrus with not much distinctive variety from one to another, yet palette friendly. A choice of bagged pretzels is offered as well as discretionary tap water.The menu was scan only and not easy to use.

I came here a few weeks ago & don’t get me wrong the drinks were great but our server came by one time then never came back when it wasn’t even busy & decided to just hang out at the bar talking to the other bartenders until we finally were able to flag her down, but didn’t end there. We needed our next drink & she kept looking directly at us as she sat down at a table & DRANK with her friends or something 3 feet away so we had to go to the bar to get our drinks as she watched us & she never came back…cherry on top of the cake is we looked for her for one last drink & my friend saw her leave the place without coming back to even give us our checks/cards or let us know she was leaving……I don’t like to leave reviews like this but I was excited for this place & I won’t come back to service like that. Maybe it was because we didn’t know lavender haze was a taylor swift song lol.

We came here at Skeleton Key Brewery for an anniversary event of Realty One Group Ethos. They collaborated with them and made a pretty delicious customized beer for the company called One Key Many Doors! We also tried other beers and we're amazed! Well according to Google Maps I'm part of the 10% of brewery reviewer (we had a brewery grand tour around Chicago's top breweries, and Illinois. So I pretty know what I'm talking about ?.) Skeleton Key Brewery is in my number 1! Top list! Cleanliness of the place, spacious, cool patio, great tasting beers, nice friendly staff. There's huge Parking area free and available around the brewery. They also have different food trucks outside that serves Tamales, Tacos, Steaks etc. We will definitely come back. Now, I know where to go if I wanted to collaborate or customized my event with a brewery.
