So I was literally at work like a normal day (service porter) and I had to drop off the owner to zoup. I had no intention in getting food but he offered me a free meal. I loved the food and will definitely bring friends and family to visit. If you like Panera this is waaaaay better! You’ll love zoup!!!!Kid-friendliness: There was no cursing or bad vibes. This is most definitely a family environment!

I was SO EXCITED to find this place! I ate here for nostalgia...and also because the food is always hands-down incredible!Zoupmaster Maria was so helpful and friendly! I explained how I was part of the opening team that helped open a Zoup! store in Grand Junction, Colorado....and I was shocked to hear that her and her husband James had heard of that store particularly ???Made me feel right at home ❤️?Thank you for making my short and sweet trip to Chicago that much more worth it ???ZOUP ON ?

I was in the mood for soup so I decided to come here. I like that you can sample soups before picking one. Customer service was fine except that they forgot to give me my cup at first (I paid for one). Another girl gave me my cup when I received my food. ½ star was taken away. Cali chicken sandwich was very tasty. Generous amount of meat. I liked the addition of the mashed avocado and roasted jalapeño ranch sauce was very tasty. I also tried the alligator gumbo and lobster bisque. I was disappointed in both. The alligator gumbo had nice Cajun seasoning but there wasn’t a whole lot of meat like the picture online (alligator, crawfish, andouille sausage). Very few pieces. Lobster bisque was the same way, good flavor but wished they had more lobster and crawfish. I did like the strawberry dragonfruit drink. Overall 3.5. Prices were slightly high.

If I wrote my review last time I visited I probably would have given it five stars, but I think the prices have since gone up so I'm going to knock it down one ($75 for 4 pick 2s and an order of dippers). I LOVE their salads, they had the hot honey chicken salad and that was amazing, I wish they didn't take it away. Sandwiches are okay I appreciate it they are fairly generous with the toppings. Soups are good, not great considering that is their major sell. I like to come here when I feel gross and don't want heavy food. Well be back again.

This review is specific to a recent delivery order (I cannot comment on customer service or the store interior). We wanted to try Zoup as we had heard good things about their soups. My husband got the chicken noodle soup, and I got the fire roasted tomato soup, and both were mediocre at best. The tomato soup had a very heavy layer of oil that essentially congealed upon delivery, and it lacked flavor. My husband's chicken noodle soup definitely had a lot of noodle, but lacked in chicken and seasoning. While I really wanted to like this place, I unfortunately don't see myself returning.
Went in with my grandparents at around 11 am on a rainy Sunday, the staff greeted us and asked if we wanted to try some samples of the soups, I tried chicken noodle soup and it was delicious. The broth was warm and full of flavor. The staff explained how they wait to put the noodles in till after its ordered to keep it fresh which is very smart. The cashiers were so sweet! Very friendly! They made our food very quickly and got the order right! Zoup also included labels on the menu to show what theyre gluten-free and vegetarian options were. The restaurant itself has a cozy vibe to it. And the booths were really comfortable. Their brownies are delicious and have little chocolate prices in them. 10/10 food, service. The view outside was a little bland, it was some streets and it is located next to a smoke shop but overall this place is really good!

Oh how happy I was to find Zoopsin my area! I first experienced them in PA, and found them in Richmond, VA where I lived before retiring. Once Imoved back to Chicagoland, I accidentally found them in one of theWestern suburbs! I have had the opportunity to introduce Zoopsto several of my friends sincethen and highly recommend this establishment! Yummmm
