After many visits to Holzlager Brewery, I can safely say this is a fantastic brewery and you won't be let down. It has been very easy to recommend Holzlager to my friends, family, and even my customers at the bank, for multiple reasons. The brews are fantastic and are very reasonably priced. We tried one of their beers randomly (the Hawaiian Hammer IPA) when we were visiting the Wisconsin Dells and it was delicious so we decided to check out their brewery since we live close. Great selection of beers, friendly and attentive bartenders. The beer garden was really cute and great for our kids. They had a food truck, plus probably 50 different card/board games for the kids to play with. We'll definitely be back,. I loved this place

Great beer, a fun atmosphere and friendly service. We stopped here as part of the McHenry County Brewery Trail and would definitely come back. The food menu is very limited but you can bring your own. We ended up ordering a pepperoni pizza and it hit the spot.
