Great price to try out the beer samples. I had the Agrarian Ale from MCC and it was a perfectly crisp IPA variety. It was a perfect place for an evening out on a weekday. I will be back.
Great beer, a fun atmosphere and friendly service. We stopped here as part of the McHenry County Brewery Trail and would definitely come back. The food menu is very limited but you can bring your own. We ended up ordering a pepperoni pizza and it hit the spot.
After many visits to Holzlager Brewery, I can safely say this is a fantastic brewery and you won't be let down. It has been very easy to recommend Holzlager to my friends, family, and even my customers at the bank, for multiple reasons. The brews are fantastic and are very reasonably priced.
