Our son was paying in a baseball tournament in Woodstock. Our family of six chose Oliver’s for lunch. The food was delicious and the service was great. Highly recommend!

Went with 3 friends, wasn't very busy and this older waitresses paid absolutely no attention to us at the bar, was very rude. Food was.. well it was 1 star. Left my jacket there and when I returned, she had the audacity to say I should tip better next time. There won't be a next time.

Took about 5/7 minutes for the bartender to stop talking to a friend to even see I sat down, friendly enough. Ordered a slab of ribs, got half a slab and three(??)mystery meat ribs. Ordered here a few times, it's a 50/50 gamble, either good service and good food or bad service and bad food, or mix and match. Go next door.

Oliver's Bar and Grill in downtown Woodstock is a staple with a great atmosphere and plenty of TVs for football. The cool art featuring iconic Illinois athletes adds a unique touch. Their food is top-notch—I especially loved the chicken panini melt with its delicious sauce. The patty melt? One of the best I’ve ever had!

So many things wrong here. #1- everyone working here looks and acts completely MISERABLE. The hostess and the waiter. Both of them were like sad and sleepy. Not a single soul smiled even briefly. #2- Their $17 appetizer consisted of "4" chicken nuggets, that they call wings, a sorry excuse of a cheese quesadilla, 4 walmart mozzarella sticks, and a toddler's handful of onion rings. Im not exaggerating. #3- When i asked the waiter if this pathetic amount of food is correct for $17, he said yes. I said "how" he said "just the way it is" and left. Sorry about your tip, bro. Its just the way it is, ya know? #4- Their BarBQ Sauce is memorably TERRIBLE. #5- My husband ordered a bull/pig burger. It said there was pulled pork on it. There was literally a small shred on it. It really was a completely pathetic experience. I do not recommend eating here at all.

I'll never go back! The first server we had was about to be off so we sat for 15-20 after we were ready to order before the other server was even ready and working. Ordered another round of drinks and he only brought 2 of us drinks. Got our food finally and... well not happy. The burger we ordered raw was WELL! The cheese wasn't melted and hardly any fries. Just not happy at all for the amount we paid. The bar was very empty and no one else was even at a table!!!
