I wish I would have taken a picture of my heart tarts but was too quick to dig in! Beautiful little tarts! I tried one blueberry and one raspberry. Both were delicious but I would recommend the raspberry. Full of flavor and raspberries! Light and flaky and the presentation was beautiful as I sat to eat them in the bakery this morning with.a lovely lavender vanilla latte. I told the owner he needs to charge more! I will be back!

If you haven't been to this quaint little cafe in the Woodstock square, you MUST. Paul was incredibly friendly, the food is delicious, portions were perfect and it's a wonderful atmosphere. I look forward to my next visit!

We stopped at La Vie en Rose first for brunch. We tried a savory bacon scone. I skipped the coffee as the only sugar-free sweetener they had was stevia (I know some people swear by it, but I find it vile). We also tried a cup of their tomato bisque - loved it. We chatted with some of the staff, and he told us of their Italian deli down the block. We will be back for the extensive sandwiches.

My first time there and it was not good. A cinnamon roll that is small but 7 dollars better be a Great! it was OK. Not sure why the icing was so loose it should have been more stable. it tasted like there was cream cheese. The icing (not the roll) was somewhat warm not thick so it was odd. I was more upset that the smores mini éclairs were definitely stale! I have a video of being able to tap the éclair onto my counter and it barely breaks. I gave the place a chance to explain. I called and no one answered. I left a nice vm explaining what occurred. maybe they were not aware. Maybe by the lack of response they do not care and they know they serve stale éclairs. I also returned their survey that is from toast their point system. No repsonse. I was disappointed. If you would have at least showed that an issue matters I would come back. I would rather support small businesses but they have to have commitment to comedable service and goods. I added screen shots of the video. I really banged the éclair on the counter and it doesn't even smash at all. a few crumbs came off. no option to add video.
Edit 8.19 The owner did reach out and apologized. I expressed my appreciation for the contact back and apology. They have since removed the smores éclairs. I will give them another chance.

There are gluten-free options, vegetarian options. Cream puffs, ? Delicious sandwiches! Many items are made with eggs, butter and cream, but we all know that's where the flavor comes from! ☺️
There's a cute, little French style table for the little ones. All in all, a genuine enjoyable experience.

Such a welcoming place with friendly people working there. I had a strawberry lemonade, which was refreshing, and a delicious lemon curd cupcake.

When you pay $9 for three croissants you expect croissants and not Walmart quality pastry. Anybody who knows what a croissant should be knows that the second step is the lamination process. Lamination is necessary to produce multilayered dough with alternating layers of predough and fat.

First image a real croissant with layers, the second an overpriced pastry that has nothing to do with the original french pastry exept the shape. Use language correctly and don't mislead people into buying something that it is not.

We wanted to give props to the former owner Kim and her amazing spread of desserts for our wedding. We booked Sweet Reds prior to the sale of the storefront and Kim was gracious enough to fulfill our order still on our wedding day and my goodness were these desserts delicious. We loved tasting with her and she gave us so many options and we did not stop at getting just a cake with them. We order cupcakes, brownie bites, key lime bites, cheesecake bites, lemon bars, and more. We loved them all! Thank you again for being able to still fulfill our wedding. We could not thank you enough!

I stopped in last Friday while doing some shopping around the square and this place is so cute inside! I had a chicken salad sandwich with a small salad and it was so good! I looked at the baked goods as well and plan to go back to try some out; those looked very tasty as well! Looking forward to getting back out to Woodstock and giving more of the food, and treats, a try!
