It’s wonderful to see the Greenwood General Store open again! My wife, daughter, and I live in Woodstock near Marian Central, and the short drive was absolutely worth it. We stopped in for ice cream and were genuinely impressed — it was excellent. As someone who isn’t a fan of chain options like DQ, I really appreciated the quality and taste here.
Beyond the ice cream, the store offers a great selection of other items including breakfast sandwiches, a variety of coffee options, and more. While we haven’t tried those yet, they’ve definitely given us a reason to come back soon.
If you're looking for delicious ice cream that’s a cut above the usual, give Greenwood General Store a try. It’s a great spot to support a local, small business that’s doing things right. We’ll definitely be returning!

The place is historic and charming and the prices are competitive. Where else can you get a hot fudge sundae for six bucks.

Perfect place to enjoy the hot day! The turkey sandwich was amazing, and the Vanilla Latte hit the spot! Will definitely go back for cream and the homemade waffle cones!

Super cute place, wonderful customer service and great food, ice cream and coffee. The Italian sandwich was SO GOOD.
We’ve had ice-cream and coffee and ran in for instant rice!! The ice cream was yummy and loved the vanilla lattes I’ve had. They have oatmilk too!
