Sazones Fresh Latin Cuisine

I’ve been coming to Sazones for the past couple months pretty frequently, driving 45 here and back just cuz we all love the food. The owners of this place and their family are always extremely kind and friendly and I’ve never had any issues with them. Then about a month ago I came twice and this new girl working there has been extremely rude and every single time has messed up my order. The first time the girl had left out our drinks and habicheulas and salsas from our entire $50+ order and I had to go back and get it which she didn’t apologize or anything for. Which is totally fine, then a week later we came and didn’t get any salsas with our food to go, and I had asked for ice with my horchata and she told me “we can’t do that.” Again that’s fine I’m not one to argue with employees, I complained about the first instance over the phone with I believe it was the owner and she said to come in and mention it for a refund or something and when I did the girl said she couldn’t do that. Today I go in and it’s the same girl again, I ordered 4 street tacos over the phone and repeated my order twice to be specific and when I went in she said she heard the order wrong and had to remake them because she made regular tacos and not the $2 ones. It’s completely fine to make a few mistakes on the job but it’s incredibly annoying to have to keep coming out from so far for bad service and food that I have to wait forever for and have to haggle over because the employee has an attitude. I love this place and really wish they’d resolve the issues so I can keep coming back. I’ve never asked for refunds or posted reviews before so their rating doesn’t go down because I love their business and they’re the only halal restaurant like this, but they really need to work on their service.

Empanadas & elote were some of the best I've ever had! The entire team loved the options and it was accommodated with vegetarian options too. Customer service was spectacular both within the restaurant and over the phone. Would absolutely recommend and I will be coming here again!!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Sazones fresh Latin Cuisine and Susu’s Dream Cakes for our twins quince event, and they truly went above and beyond! Their attention to detail was impeccable, and the buffet was a huge hit. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the variety and quality of the food, and the desserts were simply irresistible – people kept going back for more! The team was professional, efficient, and made sure everything was flawless from start to finish. I just left here and it was my first time ordering. I found them on TikTok while I was working overnight. I got off work at 7am and stayed awake until 11am just to try them and when I tell you they’re a hidden gem in worth!!!!! So glad I discovered them! 1000/10 I had the steak jibarito with a side of Puerto Rican rice and a steak birria taco for $20 (not bad at all and the portion size was big) EVERYTHING was delicious at 11:15am!!! I’ll for sure be eating here at-least twice a week!

The lady at the front desk was very nice. She took time to answer my questions, which I really appreciated. I had the birria tacos. They we're okay. I would go back and try something else on the menu.

Soo good. I've traveled the world, and the food here made my eyes tear up. Soo good totally recommend. Down Chicago area from Texas for a church conference. And stopped here by accident not disappointed

Amazing and Truly Authentic!!!!!

I was skeptical at first, but this restaurant exceeded all my expectations! The flautas and pavochon were out of this world – bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. And the arroz con gandules? Absolutely authentic, just like the ones I grew up with. Every bite took me back home. If you’re looking for a place that delivers both quality and authenticity, this is it. Highly recommend!!! ???????‍♀️✨

We liked our visit here. The staff was friendly and engaging. We tried a few things. The smashed plantain (Mofongo) with asada, taco with rice, empanada, and cheesecakes. The plantains cooked in a small wooden bowl were different and so good. The empanadas were excellent. We liked everything we ordered. The sauces are served in small containers. We got more to go. The bakery has a large selection that looks amazing. We'd come again if we were in the area. Worth a stop.

I have been wanting to try an authentic jibarito for years now, and Sazones did not disappoint! I tried both the steak and the chicken, and both were absolutely delicious, tender, and flavorful. I tried a birria taco as well, which was also fantastic. The space is adorable and photo-op ready, and it would be perfect for a shower or girls outing of any kind. I will definitely be back for my jibarito fix!
