I feel like this place now owes me stars because I had to give it one. The cheese is from a can, the meat for the taco salad was unseasoned and turned. The chicken wings were served frozen and the breading was doughy. This was the worst experience one can have at any restaurant. It has made me fearful of all other Mexican restaurants in the area.

I apologize for the delay in leaving a shining review for the local-owned Mexican-American venue but it was late December last year that we stopped in last.
I guess being a foodie, I'm all over the place and sadly I tend to forget greatness only a few minutes away from home sometimes. Before this trip here it was at least a couple of years dining in here and was missing it.
I really like both the traditional American breakfast and Mexican fare here. Dining area is always clean with friendly service servin' up great food at still reasonable prices.
Hope to get back here soon, starting to get that craving again and always try my best to support local. Hope for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).

Food was bland, fries are just like mcdonald's fries, cilantro and onions taste off, and one of the waitresses loves to talk bad about other restaurants which ruined my experience. everytime she sat someone down she would tell them not to go to certain places and proceeded to gossip like a teenager with customers. very unprofessional. never coming here again, or recommending.

I've been going to El Lago for about 20 years, since I was a kid. They are simply the best! Everyone is super friendly and familiar. The food is delicious! It's always hard to choose what to get when my family goes because there's so many tasty options. We love El Lago and that will never change.

e owner “Toochy” told me I can go to McDonalds to order pancakes when I was asking about pricing and specials. She huffed and puffed on the phone with me and proceeded to tell me that the special I asked about isn’t posted on google when that was my reason for ordering in the first place. I went in to order and she put her finger in my face and walked away from me. As an owner, that is no way to run an establishment and she should be ashamed of herself for her customer service.
