We dined in with friends who are regular customers. The two vegetarian stir fry dishes were unbelievably delicious! Meat dishes look great too. Can't wait to go back!

Umm the reviews are so good but my bison burger was not. Don’t like the bread, and the meat had absolutely no flavor?

Bison burger was outstanding, pot roast as well. The bread and butter are freshly baked everyday, and the banana bread was incredible. A true gem in the middle of nowhere

Healthy, clean ingredients make for delicious food! My body can no longer tolerate garbage ingredients like artificial sugar, seed oils, and preservatives, so I was thrilled to find this place. I love dining out occasionally, and this is now my favorite spot. I’ve ate here about 4x and have tried the omelette, French toast, pancakes, waffles, turkey sausage patties, turkey bacon, potatoes, and fresh smoothies, and I wasn’t disappointed. Instead of feeling stuffed, bloated, and tired, I felt energized and light. That’s what clean ingredients do for your body. I wish more people would support this unique and truly gem-like restaurant. Oh, and the service is always excellent.

Homespun, home made, a home for people looking for healthy, organic and even gluten free options. Everything is so yummy, you’ll forget you’re eating healthy. We had a stay at City of Hope Hospital for 12 days and this place was a lifesaver. Add to all this the clear, strong values of the family that runs this place, and it’s a healthy haven and heaven!!

🌱 Hidden Gem Alert! 💚 Stumbled across a tiny hole-in-the-wall spot called Healthyum, and WOW what a delicious surprise! Every single thing is made from scratch I’m talking even the bread and mayo! 🥖🍅

What truly blew me away? No added salt — yet the flavor is out of this world! They somehow manage to keep it super healthy without sacrificing taste. It’s a rare find to see a place this committed to wholesome, real ingredients. Everything feels homemade, nourishing, and full of love. 🥗✨

If you’re looking for a meal that fuels your body and makes your tastebuds dance, check this place out. Total game changer. 💯🙌

My health conscious vegan friend recommended that we stop there for breakfast on a Saturday morning on our way to Wisconsin. He said there were lots of options and it was a cool place. Well, my mind was blown!

Parking was easy to find on the street. Zion is a quaint northeastern Illinois town. Very family friendly vibes. The owners which are a large family are not ashamed of their love for Christ, which we both appreciated. I was expecting a tiny little cafe but its not. There is a large, open dining and ordering area and the place feels homey and welcoming with its high ceiling, brick walls, knick knacks, and warm treatment. Went to the attached general store next door where a plethera of novelties were for sale, many of a spiritual nature (any kind of Bible version, handmade crafts, wooden put together model kits, neat stuff in general)... They even had non toxic toiletries brands that I love.

Then we ordered our food and drinks at the ordering counter next door where the goodies cases/to go items and miscellaneous items were located. Tons of treats that were gluten free, vegan, healthier made, along with stuff for meat, wheat and dairy lovers . My friend ordered from a separate vegan menu...a healthy wholesome breakfast skillet, fresh fruit plate and banana nut muffin with a coffee. He loved everything. I had a peanut butter choco chip cookie, mini lemon cashew cheezecake, and house made honey peanut butter. All absolutely wonderful and tasty. The people working there are super lovely too and engaged with us. I learned that tiger nut milk is good and a real thing that they make on location and I was gifted a little take home cup for my morning coffees since I never knew of it before and i live in a big foodie city🥴 .

We loved their food, drink and service so much that we bought bags of their special blend roasted house coffee to go, which is freshly roasted in Wisconsin. I will definitely be back again if ever near the area. Everything is made with love, attention, from scratch. No gimmicks, no garbage, no attitude, no pretentiousness.

God bless you Healthyums!

In the sea of fast food and ultra processed products, Healthy Yums is a much needed staple in Zion. All the food is made from scratch and delicious. There are many allergen free options (gluten, soy, dairy, etc) which makes this place an important community location for people who have diet restrictions or preferences. The employees are always kind and friendly.

We stayed across the street at The Inn On Sheridan for our son’s Navy boot camp graduation so we were able to eat at this wonderful little restaurant several times. They use whole food, healthy ingredients to make wonderful food for a variety of diets. Our son likes more vegetarian/non-dairy options, so had an asian stir fry, lentil soup, home made bread, smoothies, dairy free cheese cake and other yummy desserts. We had beef stew, salmon, meatloaf, a bison burger, cheesy broccoli soup and lobster chowder - all delicious. Hours vary from day to day, so it helps to check their schedule.
