Tried Pollo Bacano for the first time today for dinner. The steak tacos were amazing & the fresh made corn tortillas were delicious! Fresh food, excellent service from Ariel & the place was so clean & nicely re-done! Would definitely recommend

Pollo Bacano is a vibrant and welcoming restaurant located in Zion, offering a blend of Mexican and Colombian flavors. The restaurant features a bright, clean, and decorated space with hanging flowers and a casual atmosphere, making it an inviting spot for families and friends alike. Guests often praise the delicious food, highlighting items such as empanadas, tacos, and the charbroiled chicken wings, which are flavorful, well-seasoned, and served fresh with warm tortillas and tasty sides like rice and beans. The asada tacos and Arepa Bacano, topped with tangy red cabbage and salsa verde, receive special mention for their taste and quality. The restaurant also offers other popular dishes, including flautas and the Blanco bowl, which is essentially a burrito in a bowl, showcasing the diverse menu.
The sides and salsas are flavorful, and the Colombian beer adds a nice touch to the meal. The decor extends to a charming patio area, perfect for outdoor dining. Service is generally friendly and attentive, although some reviews mention occasional delays during busy times. The restaurant provides a kids menu, drive-thru, and outdoor seating, making it a convenient choice for different occasions.
Overall, Pollo Bacano is appreciated for its good prices, authentic flavors, and lively ambiance. Despite some hiccups during busy hours, it remains a favorite spot for those seeking tasty meals and a fun dining experience. The restaurant’s effort to bring south-of-the-border flavor to Zion makes it a recommended destination for casual dining and flavorful food.
