While they asked me about my coffee regularly, they did not check on the person I was with to ensure they had water for tea, and flagging someone down was hard. This is even more astounding because we were in the front by the kitchen clearly visible to the entire staff.

The manager said she was the owner of blueberry Hill and rushed us out of the restaurant because she had things to go do and was vary rude reaching over our food and everything don't go there

I ordered ahead of time only to wait over 40 minutes for one meal & biscuits and gravy. When looking at the order though they missed half of the toppings I had ordered for pancakes & the eggs were cooked completely through instead of over easy. I’ve ordered ahead of time a handful of times and this has been the experience every single time.

The place is a little dated, the service is still pretty good. For a little place in a dump like Alexandria Indiana it’s not too bad.
Vegetarian options: They do have several vegetarian options.
Parking: The parking is rather nice on both sides of the building.

Food was good. Waitress was horrible. Took forever to take orders. Finally took our order and never came back. Busier brought our order. Set it down and left. Toast wasn’t buttered and no one was around to request bitter. Waitress kept disappearing in the back for 10 or 15 minutes and would come out carrying a cup of coffee or a glass of water. Several people gave up and left while we were there. Really a shame because the food was excellent.

Food was wonderful and our waitress was a sweetheart. Only complaint is that all the staff was on their phones and kicking back when there were customers were dining in. That's not a good look and makes it hard to be helped when needed if the staff are oblivious and staring at their phones.

Everything was very mediocre. Nothing was homemade. Service was subpar. The "head server" only took our order (the only time we saw him) someone else brought drinks and delivered our food. The coffee tasted like chemicals. The food did come quickly.
