We had 7 for a late lunch/early dinner. One of 2 steaks was very good. Buffalo chicken salad was tasty. The burger was pronounced good. However, the salmon was dry as a clay brick, the pulled pork nachos were (sorry), nasty, but wings were perfect. The pulled pork quesadillas were confusing. There was no visible cheese or cheese flavor, nor the usual combination of onions, etc. inside, resulting in a flavorless, disappointing starter. This was our first visit. Honestly, do not recommend.

If you are looking in the Madison County, Indiana, area for someplace different than you usually go for dinner out, may I suggest The Harrison Restaurant and Event Center!! Overlooking the Golf Club of Alexandria course, the setting is peaceful and opulent - the ambiance is serene, and the food is top-notch!! Suitable for a large gathering of family and friends, or for a class reunion or wedding party, this place is amazing. Two great highlights they offer are their Sunday Brunch - you have to experience it to believe it - an all-around great value. Our favorite time, however, happens at 7:00 pm on Thursdays, when we engage our minds in a friendly game of Hambone's Trivia. Why not come join us at the Harrison for dinner and a challenge!!

We celebrated our BSU graduate and the staff at The Harrison was incredible to work with. They were very flexible. We never felt rushed and the facility was beautiful. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

I planned our 60th class reunion with the staff(Alex class of 1965) for April 26th. It was great. Everyone was so pleased with the service the food and loved the venue. I appreciate the kindness and the help that was given to me thru the months as I was planning.
Alex should be very proud of this restaurant. Continued success.

We have eaten there twice and both times the food was cold. I went to a special event there and my friends appetizer tray was cold and I had to hunt down our waitress to get our check. A couple of evenings later my husband and I went to the buffet dinner and the food tasted great it was just cold. Again I had the same waitress who was just too worried about chit chatting and smoking than actually waiting on the customers. I had really high hopes for this place after reading the reviews, maybe we just came on bad nights. Idk, but I am very apprehensive about dining there again.

More people need to know about this place. We really enjoyed our service from Millie (not exactly sure if that's the name) and the manager Brenda tonight. The outdoor patio is fantastic and such a fun place to hang out with a great view of the course to watch the sunset. Happy hour from 3 to 5 with $4 mules, $4 wine, $4 martinis, $2 draft beer. $6 appetizers and they are very legit. You can't get those prices anywhere nowadays.
Food tasted great. $7 Salad, $6 wings, $6 quesadillas, $11 grilled chicken sandwich
and chips etc. Drinks were nice for $4. Made just right. Wings were very good especially during happy hour from 3pm to 5pm for $6. Really great deal for nice crispy wings made just right. Can't get that anywhere nowadays either.
People need to support this place. Go during happy hour Tuesday thru Friday and try it. Sit on the patio. It's nice. And not expensive. Try different things on the menu. Take an order of wings home. Tell your friends. This is a nice place.
