If you don’t get there when they open, the food will taste like it’s left over from the day before, the staff aren’t very friendly, someone almost always brings their young child/children to work so they’re always between tables or interrupting the customers, the service of course is always better when it’s not super busy. As far as the atmosphere goes, it’s seriously lacking, definitely needs updated & cleaned more thoroughly.

This is a guilty pleasure of mine everytime I'm in Angola. A comfort food of sorts that's just a good Chinese buffet experience.

Don't be fooled by the cry baby bad reviews or the not so stellar looking exterior, food was delicious and hot, staff were friendly and quick, and everything was clean including the bathrooms. If you're looking for your typical Chinese buffet fix this place will do the trick. I was there for lunch so the price was a little cheaper obviously.

We stopped to get lunch, the food was fresh and everything was filled. It was rather cold inside, I couldn't tell if that was normal or just because they had just opened at 11 and the heat didn't fully kick on.

We had an interesting visit here just a few days into 2026. Four of us visited. The food was typical buffet Chinese food, so, some of it was soggy from being out, but when it was fresh it was good.
The hibachi grill was good. The coconut shrimp was good. The General Tao chicken was not good, and was too vinegary tasting.
Everything else was just okay.
Funny part, there was a 6 or 7 year old child there, obviously the daughter of one of the employees. She hovered at our table, joking, talking, dancing, and messing around, for about half of our meal. It was funny for a bit, but it did get to the point where it got a bit old. Nothing against the child. I'm sure she was bored, and she was cute and wasn't acting up. I think mom and dad were working doing silverware not far away.
Overall, it was fine but nothing amazing. Service was decent. Decore was dated.

Food isn't even close to being fresh. Most is dried out, with no flavor. This used to be a great place to eat. But the last year or so it has gone down hill. So sad to see.

We went there today 12/26/25 for lunch. The price per person was $16.50. We went up and got our food got back to the table, my daughter's breaded chicken was pink not completely done, the crab rangoon was dry on the inside. She didn't even take two bites of her plate, she was done cause she was afraid to get food poisoning from the chicken. My food wasn't very hot but I ate it. I called the waitress over to tell her about the food and that my daughter didn't eat anything on her plate. I didn't ask for a full refund but I asked if they would just charge me for my plate. They refused to do that, they only took $5 off our total bill. And didn't even seem concerned about the food being partially raw. I will never go back there again. No place should serve food like that and then still charge the customer for it.

I went here before a year ago and the food was fine so I went back. The waitress who seated us didn't say a word, took us to a booth and we had to tell her we wanted drinks cause she never even asked and just stared at us. The was a huge piece of what looked like apple pie another customer put in the garlic bread container but no one did anything about it. Chicken was pink, dry and had a weird old taste so I didn't anything cause I wasn't going to take the chance. I was charged $20 even though I ate nothing. I asked if they could do anything about the price and was just told they give me $5 off after I showed them the chicken and explained everything. Service was terrible and food was awful. I wouldn't be surprised if I get food poisoning.

Uncomfortable Experience and Disappointing Food!
I went to the Great Wall Buffet, and the experience was very uncomfortable. The servers kept staring at me and made me feel uneasy. At one point, two of them were using a voice translator and seemed to be making negative comments about my group while laughing and looking over at our table. The atmosphere was really strange and unpleasant.
The food wasn’t any better — it was cold, stale, and had an unpleasant smell and texture. Overall, the whole experience felt unwelcoming and disappointing.
