Unfortunately my 5th time back was disappointing. First and foremost, Haley was incredible. However felt horribly sorry for her as she was taking care of what seemed like 6-7 tables all by herself including bussing, bartending and serving. This is unacceptable for ownership to expect that of anyone. GET SOME HELP! As for the food, well, this was also disappointing. Normally the meatballs are incredible. Yes this time they were tasty however one serving was luke warm at best but the other was what we remember - hot, flavorful and succulent. The devil eggs were also weird this time. In February they were amazing however last night it seemed they were loaded with honey mustard, weird color and just not what we have experienced in the past. Now for the steaks, well this is why you don't go near the end of the night. I heard of resting a steak but they seemed to be resting for 30 minutes. My Medium Rare Plus Delmonico came out just this side of shoe leather and very fatty. My son's NY Strip that was supposed to be medium rare came out Medium to Medium well. My daughter's and her friend's Strips were supposed to be Medium were Medium well plus. Lastly my wife's filet was done to her liking. We don't even want to talk about the murdered broccolini. I will say that the cesear salad was great but you don't come to a Steakhouse for salad. As for flavor, well this was the first time I have had to add salt and pepper to my steak at an establishment that charges $44-$55/steak. Like I said, Haley deserves a medal and if we go back we will ask for her every time. She's a true professional. We will also make an earlier reservation next time, if there will be a next time.

It was a very nice dining experience with primarily and attentive waitress, although there was some confusion at the end with the bill since we were given the wrong one. However she was able to straighten it out although it took a few minutes to get her attention and there was some concern that another patron might walk out with our credit card.

We decided to support local for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! I had been there for lunch several times but we had not been for dinner. Great service, large portions, classy spot for a nice evening out.

Fine dining in a small town. We are so fortunate to have a restaurant of this caliber in a town of our size. Fantastic food, desserts, drinks, and atmosphere. My wife and I even hosted our wedding reception dinner here. With 80+ guests, we only heard positive reviews from all of them.

As always, our experience at Auburn City was perfect. We brought out-of-town guests and everyone agreed it was wonderful. We requested Haley as our server and she always takes such good care of us... even gave us hugs!

A fancy place all dolled up, but did not like the food. Menu was small, just salads or steak, really with a little seafood. Prices were crazy beyond reproach. Not worth it at all.

Last night we both tried the Prime Rib special for the first time. In fact it was the first time we have ever had a special here and we were not disappointed. The dinner was perfect again. The salad, dinner and dessert were all just right. We will go back again

We celebrated my sister's birthday there. The server Carly was amazing! Plus they were very accommodating to make the night perfect. We got royal treatment and even got to take a tour their beautiful facility.

What a wonderful experience my wife and I had with friends tonight at Auburn City Steakhouse. Right from arrival, the staff was courteous and helpful. We started the evening off with a couple drinks, I had Fuel Social FWDC Manhattan that was good. As an appetizer we ordered the Taco seasoned Devil Eggs which were good but lack a bit of the tang I like in them normally. For the entree I had the filet with crab cake that was top notch but the whipped potatoes were really dense and lacked anything special. For dessert the moms cheese cake made a great night cap. The bourbon caramel on top with walnuts went well with my old fashioned. We will definitely be back.

Everything about this place is awesome. We were there for a special event, but have previously had dinner and all was equally wonderful. The drinks, the food, the staff, all excellent. The salad and the low roasted steak were perfect.Go for dinner, have a drink, or they now have a banquet room upstairs where they can host your private events.Get the Chai Martini - thank me later. Or they have an excellent wine list and bourbon selection.
