Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We went to the Auburn Indiana store to eat yesterday afternoon. I ordered the meatloaf meal. I received my food and not only was the meatloaf cold but so was all three of my sides. I returned my plate and asked them to reheat. It came back and my meatloaf was still cold. They had replaced my meal not heated it and it came back the same. The meatloaf was cold and two out of my three sides were cold. I sent back for a second time and still barely warm. I just took my food home in a take home box. I surely wasn’t going to ask for a 3rd reheat! No one offered me anything off my meal and no apologies made by a manager. It wasn’t the waitresses fault so of course she still received a tip and she actually did apologize several times. What a waste to go somewhere and have lunch with a friend and she was able to eat and I spent my entire visit returning and waiting for my meal to come back to me.

I ordered tips, hash brown casserole and okra. The tips came in a little tiny place it looked like there's barely a serving there. The hash brown casserole was hash browns with bacon on top and cheese. It was not the casserole I said something about it and she brought back something else that was close but not quite the casserole again. It also took us a long time to get our food and when I asked about it she said that it was on its way out at that point. 20 minutes later is when it finally came out. My husband's food was supposed to be the shepherd's pie. It look like burnt hash browns on top of a couple pieces of meat. The meat was the only thing that tasted good on that one

Got the chicken tenders. Did not give me the sauces I ordered and it took 49 min from the time I ordered until they came out. They were not busy and I understand why

Just picked up food for my wife and daughter. Took it home dropped it off and went to Wendy's to get myself something because I still refuse to eat at this location. Get home and my wife showed me her raw well done burger. When I picked up the food I opened up the bag and checked everything just to discover that we had no maple syrup for my daughter's pancakes and there wasn't any Dill ranch that was ordered but yet checked off the receipt as was the maple syrup. I see this location is still having issues. This time the wife says she will no longer eat at cracker barrel in Auburn. She dined in a couple weeks ago and the exact same thing happened she was served a raw "well done" Burger. It looks like it's not going to let me add pictures because I'm editing my past review. If I delete my original review to leave a second one it won't allow me to leave a second one. WELL DONE IS NEVER PINK.
Round#1 was back in 2022.
Stopped in for carry out. Ordered 3 meatloaf mash potatoes and 1 side meals. They give me 3 meals with meatloaf 2 sides and no mashed potatoes. Asked tor it to be corrected and the rude lady took our meals to the back and returned with mashed potatoes but no gravy. When I questioned why no gravy she smarted off you didn't order gravy so I asked for a refund ahe was nothing but rude kept our food and refused our refund so we paid $20 for a receipt. Spent 40 min on the phone trying to make a complaint to corporate never got a person was just instructed to leave my number to be called back. I just got robbed by this store they have my money and kept the food I guess I will file a small claims law suit and just go hungry for the night thanks for making me rethink what is my favorite place to eat in auburn because I will never return to cracker barrel even with the offer of free food for life. NO THANKS. Also whoever made that lady a manger needs to rethink every decision they have ever made in life. Now off to bob evens

We were a party of 7. My baked potato was cold. Chicken and dumplings soup
had no dumplings in it. It was basically just broth. One of the chicken salads was the last meal served while the other chicken salad was one of the first.

Waited for over 20 minutes to have food served cold. What was served looked nothing at all like was pictured on menu. Sadly, not the first time we've experienced this. It will be the last time though.
UPDATE I responded to Cracker Barrel comment. It has been over 5 business days since and still no response.

My meatloaf was burnt and our server was good at first but then he didn't give us part of our food til we left and didn't come and check on us again after we got out food.

Crackle Barrel over the years has lost country charm both in food at retail. If compare CB to some of my local family restaurants that serve "real" country menu prices at BC are $5 higher per menu item and quality doesnt compare. Retail once was pure country now its commerical nice quality but $$$ and not any special. Its lost country charm and unique

Went to the auburn Indiana restaurant, normally it's pretty decent but this time it was very cold in the restaurant. It being March 1st the heat should have been turned up a little more than whatever it was set to. Some of the food was cold and the rest of the food turned cold because of how cold it was in there . Hopefully they get it figured out soon this was one of my favorite places to dine

Honestly if I could rate zero I would. Went here for dinner last night and everyone that got sat after us got their food before us. Over an hour waiting on our food and all the manager could say was “sorry it hasn’t been our best night, are you ready for your bill?” Honestly the worst manager I have seen and the entire experience was a disaster for a $60 bill.
