The Pit Stop
The taste of the food is the most important aspect and they nailed that…but the pricing is stingy $3.35 for a drink is a little high also like 75% ice…only free chips and salsa at first others offer free chips and salsa they charge $2.65 per round which isn’t bad but charging for chips and salsa is a bit stingy as well the atmosphere is non existent hear every noise from the kitchen and the outside looks abandoned side note appearance means a lot and even our menus had most of the binding missing overall just decent food with above average pricing and below average atmosphere.

My wife and I come here on occasion when we can ditch the kid, I get a carne asada taco and Dos Equis, we split the nachos supremos. The service is always on par and we haven't been disappointed. Of course I could be looking at everything through rose colored glasses since we are child free for a few hours... Regardless, thanks Jalapeno's

I've been here pre-, during, and post-Covid. Every single time the food has taken forever and is bland and tasteless.Service here is terrible. The employees definitely get their "standing time" in. My husband and I came here pre-pandemic and we sat on the patio for 35 minutes while we watched the waitress chit chat with the bartender the whole time. Got a margarita ONCE because it somehow managed to taste like a dirty floor. Last time I came in was recently to celebrate my friend's birthday. We asked for a table with a highchair since she has a one year old. They seated us far away from everyone else as possible, in another room that looked like a storage room. The tables and booths were so close together that as the night progressed and they started seating more people in that room, we kept getting ran into by patrons AND staff who didn't seem to care that we were there and had a baby. Oh yeah, and that highchair? They didn't even set it up and when they brought it finally they also included a pair of silverware.... knife included.... for a baby..... food took forever and was disgusting. I got an alcoholic beverage that tasted like a ball park slushy with no alcohol. I didn't finish my meal. I went home and made myself real food.

Fast and attentive service, lots of different margaritas and some unusual but tasty offerings - great place to take a date! I wish they had more traditional offerings but what they do have is top notch!
My wife and I split the burrito Mexicana. It was delicious AND we couldn't finish it all. Portion sizes are amazing.
