I met up with a large group (20+) people here. They did a great job of having space for us and taking care of us. The food was excellent. It's rare for me to ask for a take home container, but I was unable to finish the monster omelette, potatoes, and pancakes that were all included in my meal. The portions were massive, especially for the price. This seems like the type of place that I should bring my teenage kids ?

We come for the fish on Fridays which is excellent.. but I have a problem when you go to pay they have a hostess tip jar. Seriously..when I asked the girl if they really get tips for seating people and giving them menus she said yeah why not.. I'm not sure if we will come back after that. I thought I was pretty good at tipping but I guess not. Anyone else have a problem with this?

I came here upon the recommendation of another local business. I found the food pretty bland. I had the babalou omelette, which is supposed to have chorizo. The meat in the omelette had a chunky consistency and tasted like hamburger. The potatoes were also unflavorful. The waitress neglected to bring condiments and then made herself sparse necessitating me to have to walk to the entry to the kitchen to flag someone down to retrieve them.
