The food is good. But it takes so long to get. I tried to go though the drive through and waited 30 minutes and still didn't make it to the window to pay with only 4 cars in front of me. I couldn't wait any longer for them so I left. I understand it's hard times but if you go there expect extreme wait times.
You have a 50% chance of bad or good service here. It really depends on which waitress you get. I love the steak burgers, especially the frisco burger. They need to replace the shoe string french fries with thicker fries because they get too cold too fast. The retro theme is a nice throwback in time.

I've ate here numerous times with my family. It's always a great experience. Good food. Good prices. Friendly staff. 3 adults and 3 kids ate for around $25 after tip. Steak N Shake remains one of our favorite restaurants in Auburn.
