First time eating here was a perfect experience. The food is fantastic! The waitstaff were very helpful and kind. The restaurant is very clean, restrooms were so nice and clean. This was such a pleasant experience I will definitely be a return customer when I visit the area again. Thanks to everyone working yesterday for the wonderful meals I enjoyed.

The waitress was not attentive after we ordered our food and was served. Never came back to see if there was anything else that we might have wanted.Never told me and my friend about the special on the fish that the restaurant had before we ordered. My friend is a very prominent person and had wanted to come there to eat, so I brought her. I felt so embarrassed, because of the service 😞. We were completely ignored, until we got our ticket. I did not leave a tip because a tip was not deserved. My tip is treat everyone equally and with respect. You never know who you are serving. It makes no difference how much we spent. We should have been treated with dignity and respect.

Not everyone is a customer at this place. I experienced a couple of situations with the older guy and the manager. I lived in this area for six years due to my husband’s job and quickly found out how clannish and imprudent a small town can be. The worst incident occurred when in the face of no other viable seating options I unknowingly sat next to the manager‘s friends one night at the end of the bar. Apparently, it inconvenienced him and his friends because when he decided to take a break and eat, he sat down on the other side of me and they proceeded to talk over me. Not once did anyone make any attempt to include me in on the conversation. I was trying to relax and was not at all angry until this happened and I called him out. The most egregious part about it was the unwelcoming and imprudent response I received from the manager afterward telling me that I needed to sit in the dining room and his mention that he discussed the incident with other patrons the following night, which is very obviously inappropriate. I never went back afterwards. Being a city person, I found many of my experiences living in Noble County followed suit. Ultimately, I decided I had enough, divorced, and moved away. I have no problems where I live now.

What a fun old place. The broasted chicken is the main reason we went there and it didn't disappoint. The prices were a bit high for my liking at first, but when we were done eating the costs were equal to the experience. I hope to make this place a regular stop when visiting the area.

We go here at least once a month. The service is amazing- every server we have had has been friendly, attentive, and positive. They have the best service around!! The food reminds us of a home cooked meal at our grandparents houses. Everything has been delicious- the ribs, broasted chicken, chicken tenders, sandwiches. The sides are all fantastic as well. We love the atmosphere- it’s quiet and welcoming. We never have to wait for a table and never have to wait long for service. We have also done carry out multiple times and the food is always prepared to perfection!
