Great sushi selection. And it’s half price Tuesdays and Wednesdays BUT this excludes the chef special rolls. My go to spot on the west side!

Not the best sushi I’ve had. My sushi looked plain, I bought the Latin sushi roll, my edamame’s were also plain , no salt or flavor

We come here for the 1/2 price sushi rolls they do on Tuesday. Mind you this place is a 40 minute drive for us.
They told us there would be a wait (expected on half price day) and it would be 15 minutes, not a problem. Rather than 15 minutes we waited roughly half an hour.
When we were seated our server was not at all attentive. He got our drinks a little after we sat down and then walked by our table 3 times before we flagged him down to order. When our rolls arrived he once again was not at all attentive. Never got refills and never asked if everything was ok. He walked right past our table about 30 times. We once again had to flag him down for our check and box. I understand it's a busy night but as a waitress myself you cant just blow off tables like that. You must be able to multitask and he could not.
Our entire dining experience was also disrupted by a screaming toddler. Yes kids scream it happens, but this toddler was being chased up and down the koi bridges by I'm guessing an older sibling, and screaming at the top of her lungs. Absolutely not acceptable. Someone working there should have said something to the table they were supposed to be at. Kids (especially toddlers) should never be running in a restaurant for their own safety and disrupting all of the guests.
The sushi was good, it never really disappoints. The service and management is the problem.

The wait was a bit long to be seated, but that’s to be expected on their half off sushi days. The wait between ordering and the food coming out was maybe 10 minutes total, which is insanely fast for 8 rolls. The price during their half price days is truly a steal, and they’re very friendly overall

Update: 8-10-2024- We haven't been in probably 6 months or so. Chef was nice but back to dry chicken and over cooked veggies to the point they were all mushy, the rice was okay. Portion sizes have significantly been reduced, and with prices so high, that was very disappointing. Sushi wasn't anything special either. Photo of meal was before I ate any chicken and veggies. I did order double fried rice.

Friendly and fast service. My husband enjoyed his sushi. Chicken was dry and the rice was okay. We may give it a second try since all chefs are different. ?‍♀️

We have gone here a few more times. Eh. Nothing to be too excited about.

Food was "meh" at best. Steak was delicious, shrimp was way over cooked, like hard as a rock over cooked. Service was ok, they would not clear empty stuff from the table. We moved salad/soup bowls empty bottles etc. to the grill next to us, and they stayed there for our entire visit. Didn't seem very up-kept, a lot of dust, dirt on the floors, half-painted walls etc. etc. Just a very odd "vibe" to it.

The service is really good. The atmosphere is really fun and engaging! The food can be hit or miss. I’ve been before and got shrimp and steak and it was pretty good. We just went out tonight and service and atmosphere was good but the food was a little weak. I had shrimp and chicken Hibachi. The salad was disgusting (I recommend asking for dressing in the side) I had no joke 1/2 a cup of dressing in my salad. The pot stickers were great and the Dragon ball was really good (highly recommend) The broth last time had some deep flavors, this time it tasted like watered down mushroom broth. The chicken and shrimp was cooked very well but not enough seasoning the shrimp last time was spot on this time it was very (fishy) (maybe not the best shrimp?) the chicken was great. The fried rice needed more seasoning and tasted a bit too old. The chef was good and fun.

If I could give food it would be a 2.5 (last time it was a 4.)

Absolutely average to terrible food. Got sashimi plate and TRIED to get soft shell crab. They delivered to the table 1/2 a soft shell crab. They refused to provide the whole crab. Told them to take it away.

The sashimi plate was average. The yellow fin tuna tasted older than should have been.

My wife's tempura platter was literally just a few sad pieces.

Just don't bother.
