Delicious food! The staff is very helpful, answering questions and offering samples for any of the items I didn’t know. I love to get a bowl with couscous, garbanzo beans, and kale, then lemon chicken, hummus, and veggies, feta, and lemon + olive oil. The sweet potatoes are awesome, and I always have enough left over for the next day’s lunch. They also have a variety of flavored lemonades. Great to have a fresh, healthy food option here!

This place is everything I've been missing. We had this delivered cold due to distance and OMG... I've missed these flavors. The eggplant hummus was particularly on point when you went from it to the red pepper tahini via a sweet potato waffle fry. I got the gyro sandwich with pita chips and theres nothing I regret from my choice. This place is absolutely delicious and I'll be ordering from here again. My town has horrible food variety and that's one of the worst aspects about it. But the fact I can get this delivered... Man, I'm gonna be back. I'm nothing but satisfied, please keep it up and stick around.

Edit* Unfortunately have to change my review as their portion of couscous in the bowl has been nonexistent the past 5 times I've ordered and I have attempted to rectify to no avail. Very unfortunate especially when I'm spending $50+ each time I order. This restaurant was nice while it lasted, but I will no longer be wasting my time or money at this establishment.

I stopped in with my sister and my niece who were in from out of town. They live in California, and are strict vegans. We have had a hard time finding places for them to eat in the Avon area, but from the minute we walked into almost Republic we were taking care of like nowhere else in regards to their dietary preferences. We spoke to one of the owners - I didn't get her name - and she too is vegan so she understood there plight. It also meant that she was sensitive to their needs and serve them like no one else in Avon has. For this I am very grateful!
I can assure you that my sister and my niece will be back there again before they leave to go home. I am trying to eat a carnivore diet, so they don't provide a lot for my preferences - but I will continue to keep them on my list of five star restaurants in the Avon area. I recommend them to anyone with dietary restrictions.
It is also worth noting the t bar at the back of the room. They have Indian teas and coffees. I had a masala tea that was incredible!

I had the small bowl with chicken shawarma, it was absolutely delicious. You are able.to add many toppings and sauces. The sauces vary from sweet to spicy, delicious!!!! I also had the opportunity to take the falafel, OMG it was the best EVER!!! Spiced perfect and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Definitely coming back and making Hummus republic my regular lunch spot!!! The service was on point and the staff was so helpful and kind. Oh yeah, don't forget to try their tea!!! The cardamom was a perfect balance of sweetness and spice!

Delicious crispy outside soft inside falafel, chicken schwarma was moist and flavorful. Harissa hummus gave the pita wraps just the right spicy kick. The fresh lemonades set lunch off just right. So yummy! We will be back.

So delicious! My first time here. Their falafel is amazing, gyro meat is tender, and the sauces and hummus varieties are all so good. The staff are lovely human beings. This is going to become my go-to spot every time I come to Avon from now on. Don’t forget to try the lemonade!

We’ve always had a good experience until today when we ordered chicken shawarma (online order for pick up) and received something that definitely did not look or taste like chicken. It looks like their beef and lamb gyro meat, but seasoned like the shawarma. That’s not on their menu, so I’m hoping they didn’t intentionally serve something different than what they said it was.
If it is actually chicken, I wish they hadn’t changed how they prepare it because the quality is terrible and it didn’t taste good. Unfortunately we were all the way home before we opened up the food.
