Food very good, service a bit slow, but it was busy. From what we had, I would say Los Rancheros is more authentic than the typical "Mexican" fare I've had so far in the Indianapolis area. My wife had the Mojarra Frita (fried whole Talapia), her go-to at Mexican places, and enjoyed it. I can't recall the name of the steak platter I had, and it's not listed on their on-line menu. It was a skirt steak covered in spicy beans. It was very good as well,...
Normally I have no problem but last night was terrible took over 1/2 hour for them to take our order and another 1/2 hr to get our food then we had to wait again for the check. Don't know if I'll ever go back and usually we go every week!
Everything was good very friendly, very clean. I was not overly impressed with the portion size of the lunch fajita, but then again, it was under nine dollars, so what should I expect? I guess it's just hard for any Mexican American restaurant to really stand out anymore.Because there are just so many in this area but, no complaints it was all very good.
